1 step closer for STY to get sacked. That's my silver lining.

In honestly, i don't think STY could devise a plan to fight his way out of wet paper bag....

Hoping the boys had some time to self-reflect after that Sweden loss.

The only way we can beat Mexico is if Son pulls off a one-man show, the type he occasionally does for the Spurs, with LSW providing the spark. I can see our defense putting up with Mexico's attack, especially if Cho Hyun Woo pulls off the same performance he did in the last match. I'm not sure if you guys saw how commanding he was by directing the backline in the match. Something that I only saw with LWJ.

El Tri is no joke. As much as I can see Mexico winning this match, I can also see a draw or a win at our end. Not to state the obvious but anything less than a draw is the end of 2018. Even with a draw, 독일 is looming around the corner.

I already feel the inevitable fate but I hope our boys prove us wrong.

How's Son gonna pull off a one man show, when he's playing LB. And just how many minutes will LSW play?

This is wishful thinking but I'm hoping STY starts LSW.
Ditto to my last statement but with Son playing up front.

Can't be bothered to see Shin Tae-yong at the KNT helm anymore, the delusional fool and his "tricks" need to go.

Cant really see us winning. We really needed to win that Sweeden game. I hope LEE SEUNG WOO starts. It will be the only positive thing to come out of this game.

Lee Seung-woo is expected to start, but the question is whether Shin Tae-yong will go 4-3-3 again, or 4-4-2, or his beloved 3-4-2-1.

They need to pull a civil war, similar to what Argentina "will" be doing with Sampaoli, and ignore whatever that Shin cnt says.

    And fck Kim Shinfook

I know we r gonna get fked but my heart says we will win.

I am wondering who STY's gonna start as our LB. HC or KMW?
JHS is probably gonna start.. GYH in midfield?????

why is it so difficult to add photos on posts...

anyway, i've attached what i want to see below, but for the lazy:
    4-3-3

    Son - HHC - LJS
    Ki - Koo
    JWY
    Hong Chul - KYK - JHS - Go Yo-han
    JHW

Starting shape p much unchanged. Jo is our #1, period.
Switching fullbacks bc Kim Min-woo was largely forgettable besides his mvp play for swe. I never want to see Lee Yong in a knt shirt ever again. Haven't felt this way for a rb since Oh Bum-suck got washed against the argies back in '10

JWY playing right in front of our back 4 bc we literally have no other choice esp w Park Joo-ho injured. Hopefully he can play our water carrier for these 90 minutes. Really, I wouldn't mind if I never saw JWY w/ the ball. Just retain possession, pass into space. Be an extra man on defense and go 4-1-4-1. Keep it simple, stupid.

Also, don't know if JSJ can play that position, but to be frank, idek why he was called up in the preliminary squad let alone the final 23. p sure if not for injuries he'd be watching this game on the tv rather than the bench. Same w MSM.

Ki needs to be in the MIDFIELD, dammit. He was WAY too quiet sitting behind the mf line. He needs more freedom, needs the license to venture fwd. I know no signs indicate Koo will improve but a bitch wants to believe considering we've got no other real options. If he's garbage, switch him out for LSW in the 2nd half, let LSW play on the wing and put LJS in the middle.

Son and LJS start on the wings; let them do their thing, switch sides even if they feel like it. Use that versatility to our advantage. I'm heavily relying on Son, LJS, and Ki's talents for a result. Ki picks out Son or LJS on the break and they have a go at their man. We're in such a sorry state rn I don't even care if they lose the ball as long as they try something. And they have the quality to make something happen if they try something.

HHC was the most prominent player for us against swe. He deserves to start. Not like he's got any competition anyway.

    ~

I know I shouldn't be hopeful, but goddammit we have enough quality to at least make this a match ... if we ACTUALLY play to our strength against the Mexicans, who knows what'll happen. If we bunker like we did against swe, we're gonna get washed

per usual my prediction depends on how we play in the first 10 minutes, but I could see it either going 2-1 us or 0-2 them. If MEX score a 2rd we'll do nothing but bunker in defense to save face. But since we haven't been capable of defending in literally years, we'll inevitable concede a third.
