That being said, I don't think LSW has the match fitness yet to start. He's much more effective coming in for 30+ minutes imo, particularly against the Mexicans. Whether STY has the wits and guts to give him that much time is another question since STY cannot seem to make substitutions until it's 10-15 minutes too late.

 

seriously tho, imagine if he'd played 3 at the back???

the other positive from this line-up i keep trying to tell myself is that he's got some serious options now off the bench. only problem is STY is still STY and he'll probably bring Koo in before he even thinks about LSW while we're a brace down. .........

as @sac517 said tho, no other manager in this WC would start LY after his performance in the opener. infuriating plain and simple.
