Is the next leg St. Lucia's home game even though it is being played in A&B? 3 away goals in very nice!
I'd get excited...but we all saw what happened to the USVI in the last round. A&B are up against it, but get to set things right on de facto home turf (and hopefully before a more numerous crowd) on Sunday.
I posted that in another topic on May 5. Nobody in my prediction contest predicted St. Lucia to win either game. http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/news/y=2015/m=6/news=concacaf-s-road-to-russia-continues-2639618.html is titled "CONCACAF's road to Russia continues." tx It says Belize are favorites, but 12 out of 17 people in my prediction contest predicted the Dominican Republic to advance.
http://edition.channel5belize.com/live-streaming has video of Dominican Republic-Belize. Belize is wearing red.
DR 1 - 2 BELIZE Balompie Dominicano @balompiedom Perdió RD pero en entrenador esta contento....por fin su hijo juega los 90 minutos...convocado por el mismo..
Dominican Republic 1:2 Belize. http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=274831/match=300310120/index.html Deon McCaulay scored 2 goals including the game-winning goal in the 88th minute. Only 1 out of 18 people in my prediction contest predicted Belize to win. Home teams have 1 win (by 1 goal), 2 draws, and 3 losses so far in Round 2. With Canada and El Salvador away tonight, the home teams will probably lose then. Tomorrow Guatemala is likely to get a home win, while Puerto Rico hosts Grenada in a game that could go either way.
Deon seems like only guy there (in Belize squad) able to score. I expected better performance from Dominicans.
What can you expect from a bunch of players that have never seen each other ? Or a moron coach with no ideas ?
Man, the defender who swung and missed on the low cross, and then threw a pick on his own keeper to let McCauley skip past them both and score on an empty net, will really want those 10 seconds of his life back.
Canada in cruise control in Rosseau with a 2-0 lead on Dominica in the 82nd minute. St. Kitts & Nevis are still scoreless with El Salvador in the 33rd minute in Basseterre.
True, but you'd have to think St. Kitts would need all the goals it can muster at home. I think the Sallies can turn things on in a hurry at the Cuscatalan.
Canada takes an important 2-0 first leg in its series with Dominica. El Salvador still holds a 1-0 advantage over SKN in the 59th minute.
I agree El Salvador is in good shape with the away goals. I just dont see SKN pulling out a win in such a tough environment or accumulating 3 away goals
