You guys slating fabian have short memories. In the run up to the WC Fab had a few stints on the wing and was quite influential. At one ppoint he had a record similar to Pulisic in that or GPG was mich higher when he was playing. I think some of you guys need to write off shitastic performances under JK, and base your opinions on what they are doing now. You will look a lot less foolish in the long run. All it took for me was to see MB transform back to a decent player instead of being total shite under JK, to realize having a coach who understands man management and tactics helps more players than it hurts.
well you Feilhaber fanboys sure don't give up easily. Feck benny, he doesn't fit and there is no way on God's green earth I am moving Pulisic anywhere to make room for anybody. He is legions ahead of any US player in our history. He is still very young, but there is not one player in our pool that plays games at as high level as he does. Build the team around him, if he is good enough to draw a Pokal winning peno, score and assist in the CL, and give a good account of himself against RM, I am not moving him to accommodate a head case like Benny.
Yea, except he absolutely struggled when Dortmund moved him centrally. He's a very dynamic winger... not so much at CAM, which is where we need help. Benny is the guy to insert there. Period.
You keep saying this. Where's your evidence for this? Or even a named example? He's barely played there, but he gave a good account of himself to my memory.
I think that's actually the 1st time I've said he struggled at Dortmund when moved central. I've watched every minute this season and probably 90% of games he played in last season (including CL).
My mistake. I've just seen a couple time already today. Thought it was you. And...? Were you cut off mid-answer? Which game is your example of him struggling?
Ream is a disaster in the back tonight. He's been shaky all night and the goal just capped it off. Wow, Smug Bruce really outdid himself this time.
I thought Johnson was going to play on the right wing, but looks like he is playing on the left, when he is not in the middle. It does not appear that the guys have a clear idea of where they are suppose to be. Bradley should have taken the shot...he is usually not shy about it. I really do not like Nagbe playing so far back, if not on wing.
Bruce is all of us right now🤔.#Get3 | #USAvCRC pic.twitter.com/Qc64FDjgGG— U.S. Soccer Men's National Team (@USMNT) September 1, 2017
This was super klinsmanesque tonight. Weird roles and formations all at once. I was dead wrong about fab and the other attackers looking good together, but Nagbe essentially partnering Bradley, with pulisic and fab miles away from everyone on the wing is no sort of formation anyone had in mind so I don't know how to evaluate this. In Saint Dempsey we trust I guess.
Can anyone name me 1 PLAYER with Grinta on this roster? Embare-assing. Well....Bruce isn't undefeated any more, unfortunately.
yes, we agree. I was relating this to my own personal experience. Having stamina doesn't mean you can recover from sprints like you think you can,or at least I did. At the time I thought "I might be slow, but I'll be able to keep my pace all match", which was proven wrong. I would have trouble sprinting in the second half.
