Please keep it civilized and relevant. Next month, we can slightly see how strong teams in this group are after watching May/June fifa day friendlies.
My predictions 1. South Korea - Were in a low point last cycle and still made the World Cup, they should finish first. 2. Iran - Will look unconvincing while playing, but will get good results nonetheless to qualify. 3. Uzbekistan - Opposite of Iran, will play attacking football but fail to finish their chances and end up barely missing out again. 4. China - Will start off poorly, but pick up. However, their start will cause them to be eliminated. 5. Qatar - Will vastly underperform and only look impressive against Syria. 6. Syria - Will finish with 0-2 points.
China - 15 citys to bid for 5 home matches for Team Dragon according to CFA 1. 5 matches will be played in 5 cities 2. each city will have a budget of at least 20m RMB (3.068 m USD) as host city 3. candidate stadium has mininum capacity of 45,000 4. provid at least two training pitches with the same standard as the candidate stadium.
Cancicate Cities for 2018 WCQ Team China Homen Matches 1. Beijing - Bid for home matches against Syria National Stadium (Birds Nest) capacity 80,000 2.Shanghai Shanghai Stadium Capacity 56,842 3. Do you know how much is Uzbekistan football federation paying Babayan annually? How much did they pay Qosimov and Abramov? Do you think can Uzbekistan football federation pay 2.0 million to $ 2.5 million annually to a head coach or not?
I thought the same thing. They are huge and modern designed but it looks there is no football dedicated stadium.
I don't know exactly, but UFF never pays such a big money for local coaches, i think they get something around 20k as +PL+ supposed
How about foreign coaches? Do you think can Uzbekistan football federation handle $2.0 million to $ 2.5 million annually for a foreign coach or not?
You reminded me of Dariush Mostafavi and Valdeir Vieira. Mostafavi said when he was IFF president he hired Valdeir Vieira for $5k per month. Mostafavi criticized the current IFF several times for the amount of money they are paying CQ and his assistants.
Yes, once Bunyodkor handled to pay $16 mln to Scolari and at that time there were rumors that Scolari was going to head NT
Historically we have a very bad record against Korea. 1-12-17! The only victory was at 2010 East Asian Cup and Korea fielded a second-string side at that time. I think we can beat Iran on a good day, though. On paper Iran is stronger than us without a doubt. However I think they have a weaker squad than they did 10 years ago or so, when we beat them at the Asian Cup 2004. Having said that, Iran is far more consistent than us and will finish above the rest of the group except for Korea. Our realistic way is to get the third place and qualify for the finals via the intercontinental play-off.
