my comments on the Toronto FC vs Club America game from Tuesday. http://www.rocketrobinsoccerintoronto.com/reports18/18tfc008.htm
What does CCF mean? It's the CONCACAF Champions League (CCL). Here are the probabilities for tonight based on the Intertops odds: Chivas win: 57.4% Draw: 25.1% Red Bulls win: 17.5% If you break Chivas's probability into possible scores, the Red Bulls have over a 50% chance at a win, draw, or loss by 1 with at least 1 away goal. I'd say that over 13% of Chivas's wins would be by 1 with the Red Bulls scoring, and adding .13*.574 to the Red Bulls draw and win probabilities gets over 50%.
I was looking for the Chivas fan thread but couldn't find it. I just wanted to say it was classy act by their players to call for the med as soon as Muyl went down and to give space and make sure he was ok.
Being pro-America is synonymous with being pro-Mexico, **********. It is one and the same, you can't separate the 2. If you love America, that means you love Mexicans. Aigh **********, this debate is done, if you wanna keep being foolish, do you. Nothing changes the fact that any Mexican who stans the usmnt, is a fool. You're trying to be something you are not. Back to CCL, America fans have to make Astec Stadium weigh heavy on tfc. They've never dealt with a truly hostile crowd, the Volcano was too sawft.
You pretend to be Mexican when you don't even have any rights as a real Mexican but go ahead and pretend to be something you are not. And yes, finally. This is a soccer forum not a forum to discuss nationality and or ethnicity.
MLS sure has surprised me! I honestly thought TFC was not getting past Tigres and if by a miracle they did, America would walk all over them. I was wrong. I know the games are not over yet and anything can happen even in the Chivas vs Red Bulls. But what I have seen from MLS teams since last year and the players teams are buying, I don't see that big of a gap anymore from the Liga MX.
I will be there in the greatest football stadium in the universe 2morrow night to witness another magical night for Club Papa @Paul Calixte @Nico Limmat @slaminsams
Games were awesome and very entertaining! Games were as I expected. Red Bulls to be desperate and dominate Chivas as it was Red Bulls that needed to score and America to be desperate too and dominate Toronto. Toronto does really have a good team! For those that say that MLS sucks, MLS this and that it just proves they don't watch it. It has definitely grown. I think this is just the start of this competition getting better. Those days of Liga MX teams always being in the last 4 are more than likely gone. I hope to see teams like Atlanta United, NYCFC and hopefully Toronto back next year. I know that Sporting KC is already in for next year and they must be doing something right because they won the US Open Cup, were in the MLS Cup playoffs and are leading their conference right now. Now if either America, Toluca or Santos (any two of these three) reach the final in Liga MX so they can join Tigres and Monterrey for CONCACHAMPIONS next year too it will really make things better.
Surprised that no Chivas player took it after beating up on Cibao...but hey, the tournament is now done in fewer games, so I don't think anyone will be challening Chuletita anytime soon. Btw, in the first year with the CL/CCL format, only two series finished with penalties: the Final in each tournament.
