Come on, folks, what's not to like? A friendly with Donovan's new club? No one's interested to see how he does? Boo him or cheer him, as you like? A quality opponent? Game during a bye week to keep the team sharp?

    Sounds pretty good to me.

Works for me. I won't boo Donovan. He brought two MLS Cups and was a great for the USMNT. Too many good memories outweigh his poor departure.

I like Landon Donovan, he's at a point in life where he can laugh at himself. I wouldn't be surprised if he came into the stadium holding a piñata of himself.

Highlights of his Leon debut included one really bad touch and some decent plays. He's still got it, but probably not for 90 minutes multiple times a week.

I like him a little less every time he un-retires. He better be able to laugh at himself. I'm gonna heckle him by calling him Brett Favre. :)

Landon’s hairline is receding so fast, he could get a spot on Men in Blazers soon.

I hope Donovan does not re-re-retire before the match.

This is really the perfect friendly for us...It couldn't be better. There will be a ton of media on hand...a lot of fans will tune in to see how LD looks in his return to professional soccer...Leon is a popular club. It's a win all the way around...lots of interesting angles. This is kind of a big deal...

I absolutely agree. It's hard to arrange an international friendly with this much and many types of local interest. It would be great if Cake's last game against us wasn't with the scum. Hope he plays, and I wouldn't mind if he got some applause this time.

What if Baby Judas pulls a Pelé and plays the first half for Club León, then the second half for the San Jose Earthquakes?

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! :(
