Looks like the World Cup brought some new members to the forum (Welcome all! ) so here's a run down on how this thread works. • Barcelona match ends. • You list the three players you felt had the best performances in the match. List them in order 1-3 from best to third-best. • Please try to limit your list to ONLY THREE players. • Points are awarded based on your voting of the players: 1st place vote = 3 points 2nd place vote = 2 points 3rd place vote = 1 point • Voting for each match will remain open for at least 6-7 days to give everyone a fair chance to view the game and place their votes. • When voting for that match closes, everyone's votes will be tallied and the top three players receiving the most points are awarded consensus MOTM points: 7 points for highest vote total 5 points for second highest 3 point for third best • This is done throughout the season until the final match has been played, with the overall leader being named B.S. Player Of The Season. • For voting totals to count, a match must receive votes from at least FIVE people. Ha, Dani is who I kept thinking when the score read "D. Alaves". I'll repeat those ratings as well, not MAtS busiest night but he had a couple great interventions. I'd expand the HM to include Arthur, Busi, and Dembele.
Dembele with an early lead, but his thread might as well be called MOTMOTM (Man of the Match Other than Messi). Makes me wonder if Messi will ever not be our Man of the Season (MOTS) before he retires or--gasp --moves back to Newell's Old Boys... Any idea which season was Messi's most dominant in our MOTM voting, i.e. when he won by the most votes? It'd be fun to compare year-to-year. I might do this next time I feel like ignoring my work.
