I guess Japanese porn companies should buy more European clubs.

Tomiyasu starts, while Endo and Sekine not even on the bench:

The game is against Naomichi Ueda's Cerclre Brugge (who starts from the bench).
We might witness the first Japanese derby in Europe this season if Ueda comes from the bench tonight.

First start for Tomiyasu, first game of the season, first full 90 minutes, and first game without conceding any goal.

The game ended in a 0-0 draw at home against Cercle Brugge.

Ueda did not play, no Japanese derby for tonight.

I thought Tomiyasu was incredible yesterday. Far better than in Toulon. He keeps it up like this, and he's gonna play all season. His interceptions in particular where great.

It's always a risk with these kind of moves where the coach is not japanese and the board goes his own way, I wonder how the season will go for the other two boys.

Another start for Tomiyasu against Genk, while Endo is starting from the bench:

Sekine is not included in the matchday squad for the second time in a row.

    Goal by Endo.

Endo subbed in the 69th minute, immediately after Genk went 1-0 ahead, and scored the equaliser 3 minutes after he came in.

Tomiyasu is getting alot of praise for his performance. I would like to see him focus all his energy on his club this season and perhaps next summer make his way into the national team.

Also, Endo is too good for this club. He'll have a good season and hopefully move to the Bundesliga next season.

Endo and Tomiyasu both starting, while Sekine makes it to the bench for the first time:

By the way, Sint-Truiden is rumoured to be interested in Japanese wingback Ryota Koike.

About Endo and Tomiyasu, it'd be good even to see them doing a Morioka-move to a bigger club in Belgium, which is a good football school.

Endo is already 25, I don't think it would be wise for him to stay in Belgium more than one season. Providing he will do a great season, and I'm sure he will, he can look for many suitors across Europe.

As for Tomiyasu, his development is going well, he can stay for a further season in Belgium before thinking of a transfer to a bigger league.

It is getting crazy! They signed Daichi Kamad in 1-year loan from Eintracht Frankfurt:

    5 Japanese in one team.

    Who is next?

@Dax will you add Koike and Kamada to the title of the thread? Or it will be too long and you will just name it: "Japanese players in Sint-Truiden VV"?
