As much as I agree, I keep reminding myself these first four games are games they should be winning. However, the way they are winning gives me hope.
Pulisic to Chelsea official. 64 million. loaned back to BVB for the rest of the season. I know we have some Chelsea fans here. What's the wing situation look like at Chelsea? I've seen Hazard could be going to Real. Willian on one side, Pulisic on the other? Or is it more likely somebody else would start over Pulisic? Kinda concerned about the wisdom of this move for him.
Pedro as well. And however many of dozens of people Chelsea have on loan across Europe (including Matt Miazga).
Pulisic is in a strange place. He just needs to be out there playing. Sancho hasn't exactly taken his place entirely, but he's having a wonderful season and is producing more in his time than Pulisic is. I get that because of all the transfer confusion, Pulisic may have been taking it easy trying not to get injured. The fact that Dortmand have 2 players at the same spot under 23 and could sell the older of the 2 for a record fee and keep the "better" player on a team at the top of the table says a lot about where that club stands. Young talent abounds. I hope for the best for him. He just needs to be playing. Crazy that this sort of thing happens to players at every skill level. He's too talented to be afforded by a team where he could be the star and focus of team. Only a team stocked with talent already can afford him. Now, he's in limbo and may only play 25 games this season.
Correction: The transfer is 73 million dollars. I hope that much money means he gets solid playing time.
Hard to say. Today saw Morata start in the middle up top with Hazard and Willian on the wings. I don't see Pulisic playing the center mid over Jorginho, Kante isn't coming out, maybe on the left mid/wing where Fab subbed in for Barkley today? I don't think Pusilic is going to be counted on to score as much as create, but in the supposed favorite formation of Sarri and with the players already at Chelsea, I just don't know. I would rather see a 4-5-1 with Pusilic playing AM with Hazard, and Jorginho, Kante and Barkley plating DM. Can't see that happening. But, Roman didn't pay all that money to have Pusilic sit the bench, either. I didn't think it would happen considering the scoring slump Chelsea has been going through. Morata and Giroud aren't cutting it and I don't see Pusilic in that role.
I'm sure there is a bit of media spin on it but I was a bit shocked that Sarri came out and said he knew nothing of the transfer
To be honest a club like Chelsea might operate knowing that the coach will change every couple of years. So they build based on that?
His English isn’t that good. I’m hearing he knew of the player/interest but knew nothing of the deal. Considering he supposedly plays a specific style of soccer and doesn’t have the players to fit it yet, no way he didn’t ok the transfer.
This is fantastic lol. Not sure how to share Instagram pics, so follow the link to ESPN FC to see this damn gold-covered steak. http://www.espn.com/soccer/bayern-m...ck-at-criticism-for-eating-gold-covered-steak Bayern Munich's Ribery angrily hits back at criticism for eating gold-covered steak Ribery visited the Nusr-et restaurant in Dubai during some downtime with the Bundesliga on hold. The restaurant is owned by Nusret Gokce, known as "Salt Bae" for his extravagant persona and the way he seasons his meat. The steak, covered in gold, can cost in excess of £1,000. Ribery, 35, was criticised after the picture emerged but hit back on Instagram, saying: "For 2019, let's dot the i's and cross the t's... Let's start with the jealous, the haters, those only born because a condom had a hole in: f--- your mothers, your grandmothers and even your family tree. I owe you nothing. "My success is, above all, thanks to God, me, and my loved ones who believed in me. For the others, you're nothing but pebbles in my socks!" *fire emoji* *fire emoji* *fire emoji*
They don't call Bayern "FC Hollywood" for nothing.... But it seems he's leaving Bayern. Maybe he'd like a Thurmanator...
Good morning everyone. Welcome to the Coppa Italia Round of 16 weekend. Who is ready for the magic of the Coppa Italia?!?!?! Some tasty matchups include Torino vs Fiorentina and I'll be setting aside time for Sampdoria vs AC Milan Saturday at noon. Roma doesn't play till Monday when they face Serie C side Vitrus Entella. This should be a match that Roma win, obviously, but I already have flashbacks to 2015 when a Rudi Garcia led Roma crashed out to Serie B side Spezia in penalties in the Round of 16. Good times. Roma has 9 Coppa Italia crowns. Only Juventus has more. We've had 9 crowns since 2008. The wait has been long enough. It's time to get that 10th.
When I first read that last sentence it sounded like you were saying that Roma got their 9 cups since 2008.....
Yeah, I know I'm never going to see what happened in the 1970s for my guys again (five German championships, 2 UEFA cups, one CL final, etc... in 10 years). I'd take just one right now. There's the slightest of windows this season, before Dortmund and Bayern come calling with big contracts for our best players again....
Not Europe, but whatevs. Oscar Parejo off to a rip-roaring start with Tijuana. 2 losses in 2 games, 0 goals scored, 5 conceded, bottom of the table.
