Last Sunday we finally won after a stretch of five games, now let's build upon that by beating Augsburg.

It seems everyone if fit apart from LP and Reus is finally back. This could be a pivotal week with Bayern going to Gladbach. I would hope to end the week 5 points clear.

With Gladbach losign 3:0 last week, the hope is that they will show some pride and be up for the Bayern game to try and make up for the poor showning against Wolfsburg.

They are playing at home after having already beaten them in the Allianz Arena 0-3. If they beat Bayern today that would be quite the league double. Plus with a 5 point gap they would be striking distance of 2nd spot. BMG is the kind of team that typically shows up for the big games so I hope they hammer Bayern once again. Liverpool and Hertha have shown Hecking how they can be beaten. Speaking of Hecking, he is having quite an interesting season. His tactical acumen has really been on display this season. He should be able to put one over Kovac.

I am unusually more worried about our winning today.

Then you should read this article https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...tmund-heute-sein-hinrunden-60424630.bild.html

Marco Reus should be back and is raring to start. Also we haven't lost this season whenever DAZ and Akanji were our CBs.

Augsburg has never won against us in their own stadium. Plus they have serious issues. Anything less than 3 points and a clean sheet would be disappointing.

Raphael and Paco on the bench. Götze up front with Reus behind him. Delaney next to Witsel.

Weigl on the bench and Mo not even in the squad.

Any player with a Danish passport shouldn't be starting for BVB. We need Dahoud or Weigl in the center and Raphael on the left.

2:1 Alcacer. Looks like the first time the players were looking for the better positioned teammate. We still need two more goals.

Füuuuuuuuuuuck. Füuuuuuuuuuuck. This is such a piss off. Couple of weeks ago these pansy POS couldn't hold off Bayern and today they play like Mourinho's Inter against us.

Lucien Favre cannot select a starting 11 anymore since he's in love with Delaney.

At least Paco scored a goal and Götze had an assist plus more key passes than he's had in the last three years combined.

What a frustrating game to watch and what a way to piss away your title chances. In contrast to teams like Leverkusen, the opponent is doing nothing but sitting back and we make the most stupid mistakes you can imagine. We looked flat offensively except for a few minutes around the goal. We beat ourselves again and again in these kind of games against shitty opposition. Just awful.

The team just might not be mentally ready or in good shape. Hakimi is a good example for a player who looks really bad without confidence. As soon as a mistake happens, it is as if he gets weak at the knees. Reus was invisible and needs time to get back in form, Bruun Larsen had one good scene that he wasted and was useless otherwise. Despite the mistakes, we probably win the game with a player like Auba. Philipp was nullifying every good approach by following it up with bad execution. But you can't expect the best chemistry from a player who sees so little playing time. You can't win anything when so many positions are filled with players who aren't at the top of their game.

Favre needs to rethink his formations. There are games when you need speed and creativity in midfield and on the wings and we always fail when we aren't set up for that.

Yeah this loss is purely on Favre. You don't play Delaney against FCA. That's why you have Mo and Weigl.

It's about time to switch things up. Play Reus on the left, Götze in the center and let Paco up top. Two players who play in their natural positions and one gets regular game time.

This is going to get embarassing the rest of the way.

The defensive errors are not related to a very conservative team selection in offense. Bruun Larsen is not the right player to put on the left, Guerreiro is. Gotze (despite having his best game) is not the player to play striker, Paco is.

Why not start with Reus and Guerreiro on the left, and Paco up front? Then bring in Gotze instead of Reus!

Also don't play Phillip as a midfielder! Not his place either! I bet he would have played better than Bruun Larsen on the wing.

Bye bye title slipping and soon to be put of reach. We had a good run... I believed for a while there. Reality is hard to face.

You don't understand. Last year, Frankfurt under Kovac stepped it up. Nice and BMG have always bottled in the latter stages under Favre.

    He doesn't have a plan B.
