FC Cincinnati with their home crowds and punchers chance attitude, they are really making a name for themselves in the American soccer landscape. Good on their staff, players n fans and supporters.

Kansas City wins their 4th Open Cup. That ties them with Chicago and Seattle for the most by a MLS team.

I know everyone scoffs at the USOC, but it's an actual trophy that would be good to have. It's better than nothing at all for sure.

I watched Atlanta just throttle LAG while waiting for the Cup Final in K.C. The Final was well played, good game imho. Don't care for either team so it was tough to root for a champion to be crowned.

And its a sports culture like our in the U.S. where there is a massive lack of soccer history to speak of, specifically when folks that follow the other sports, our more traditional American sports who often look down on soccer for this very reason, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup dates back to 1914. So that shuts down their argument, it's just so many soccer folks in our nation do not know of this annual tournament or do not know how to get involved in the National Champion, David vs. Goliath and all divisions aspect to it so they don't get involved. I love the USCO for the very reason it is very similar to the Road to the Final Four NCAA tournament, aka March Madness.
