Yeah i's possible White left the AUFC academy I guess because it is weird he is listed as unattached, but last I heard/read he was still there.

 

Panamanian network TVMax 9 lists for tomorrow ( http://www.tvmax-9.com/en_vivo/):

That is, the network will have an available livestream. Will it require authorization? Be geoblocked? Will the US matches be similarly livestreamed?

I'm hoping for "no", "no", and "yes."

 

The Mexico and El Salvador games showing up on my TV guide as being on Univision Deportes... all three Mexico games are there.

Wikipedia lists the kickoff time for US vs Jamaica as 12:30 pm EST. Anyone know which one is the real kickoff time?

 

Concacaf lists it at 1:30 PM EDT, 10:30 AM PDT, which is the same as 12:30 PM EST, the time zone for Panama all year, even if we are now in daylight time in most of the US. http://www.concacaf.com/category/under-17s-men/schedule-results

I have no idea how US Soccer came up with 11:30 AM ET. Someone likely mistakenly thought ET was one hour behind local Panama time, when this time of year, the opposite is true.

 

It's the confusion of "EST." It's a pet peeve of mine (driven by years of living in Indiana which was *EST* all year long for decades). I try to use EDT whenever it applies, but usually get EST in reply. Even professionals and TV networks misuse the term.

 

EDT is daylight time? The one in the summer?

 

@Real Corona, maybe this should be the U20 sticky until the tournament starts?

Technically because they failed to properly communicate a fairly simple tax for the required stadium, More subtly though it is because it was the wrong ownership group and they have alienated every other club in STL as well as behave as entitled. They had to have some community engagement programs in place for MLS and the minority vote and they didnt sign on w some of their nonprofit partners till 2 days before the vote. not authentic.Sad really.

 

Carleton and Goslin are on their way to Argentina for a U17 camp.

 

I don't know anything about the camp but if it lasts more than a week then it will start messing with his availability for the open cup game on June 14th. That's the game I had circled for his first extended run out with Atlanta United.

 

Quantrell Jones, Chandler Vaughn, and Nico Garcia-Morillo also tweeted that they are going.

 

Interesting.

Obviously, Atlanta feel it is the best interest of their team and his stock to let him play in these tune-up events versus staying with the club. Disappointing was hoping to see him on the field.

Hope it is a short camp.

 

Well, hopefully Carleton doesn't play at all on the 9th and is rested enough to play ATL's open cup game on the 14th. Agree with those that say it's worthless for him, and other players on professional rosters, to play in these friendly youth games.

 

I REALLY want to see Sargent play at the U17 World Cup.
