Yes, I agree. I really don't have special information. I thought it was interesting just because my friends really do follow EPL closely, and one the very team in question, and they gave it _some_ credence. It is a slow news day so I figured I'd share. I shared my "sources" intentionally so you could take it for what it was

I read here a lot don't post much, but this was compelling. That is epic, absolutely pure internet gold. I really did laugh out loud. I suppose it is only funny because I am just an admirer of the club.

Seri is throwing a hissy fit after his move to Barça broke down. He shot up an SOS flare to Dortmund among others, though I think BVB may [wisely] shy away from players who openly throw tantrums after the Dembele ordeal.

 

I've seen rumors we are after Draxler and Ozil? Not sure how Draxler (former Schalke...) would fit in and how much he would cost. But I think Ozil would cost way too much for what he'd bring... What do you guys think ? Most likely unfounded rumors though...

Oezil is former Schalke youth. Just thought I'd mention this since you associated Draxler to the Schalke04 but not Oezil. Having Oezil would be magical. Him playing with Reus and Auba and Goetze would be amazing.

Maybe you are right about Ozil but how much would he cost though and I feel he's got a bit of an 'attitude' issue that may be bad for the locker room. That is just a personal feeling, nothing against his talent as a player.

Oezil is tailor made to feed goal chances to a striker like Aube.

 

Oezil certainly would struggle with the amount of pressing that Bosz expects from his players.

 

Oezil would be an amazing option going forward, but he is almost invisible defensively. I don't see Bosz as someone who would tolerate that at all.

Secondarily - Watzke would have a panic attack seeing Mesut's wage bill.

 

I liked the part where we were 10 men down and he dived for a penalty but was told to get up by the referee, last time we played Hoffenheim away. Opportunistic with lots of room for improvement. Welcome Toljan.
