3,617,379 for the first 171 games making it we need 4,610,621 for the last 203 games to get to the 22,000 average. I THINK.

    Interesting note:
The post-Gold Cup increase was seen this week in most matches, especially the weekend matches.

Of the teams four who hosted two home matches this week, only NYCFC and Seattle's weekly average was above their season average. All four teams' mid-week matches were below the season average (slightly expected) and all four had attendances larger than the average on the weekend.

NYRB, DC and LA had one home match each and all were below their average attendance, but NYRB and LA's home matches were both on a Wednesday.

Hey, even Columbus drew a decent crowd!

So the original capacity for Mercedes-Benz Stadium's soccer capacity was (I thought) 42,500. Today, we had an announced attendance of 45,319. That's almost 3,000 more people who paid for tickets to the opener of the new mega stadium.

We'll see Atlanta fans' first test of their commitment this Wednesday, as we have our first of four midweek matches to close out the season.

Yeah my son told me today about the schedule as we watched the match from TV today. This will really test any teams following for what is about to occur (not to mention the players endurance). We are going to the Orlando game at the Benz next Saturday.

I posted this in the attendance thread in the N/A forum also, but since people are talking about it in two threads I thought I would share here also.
According to stubhub.com there are only 838 tickets available for Wednesday. I think some of those could be already purchased tickets for resell, but I am not sure exactly how stubhub.com works.

For Atlanta United, StubHub is a reseller only, they do new tickets online through Ticketmaster.

Yeah, I just got told in the other thread. Sorry for the mistake.
Looking at ticketmaster.com it shows ~3181 available.
