If Sargent comes to MLS, SKC pulled some bullshit to claim him as an academy player.

Did he play during the 2015 Gold Cup?

Can't seem to remember, but I thought Haiti did decently against the US, although that wasn't saying much at the time.

Probably not, seeing as he would have likely been 15 at the time...............

Young Center Back... local to Lehigh Valley.... makes sense as a Bethlehem pickup to develop. (assuming he's cheap)

Would be a nice pick up although he's clearly a long term prospect and he'd enter into what is already a log jam of long term prospects at CB (Yaro, Trusty, McKenzie, etc.).

Probably was still a smarter move than becoming a Union HG back then.

Weren't the Union unable to sign HGP's for a few years due to punishments levied by the league for Ling Pitor's transgressions? That and the fact that didn't have any viable pro prospects that actually wanted to sign with them........

I don't think that was the story with Barbir though. I don't think they ever made an effort to bring him on anyway.

The big clubs spit out a lot of prospects that never had a shot.

Yeah the lack of effort towards Steffen was odd since they had a relationship with him. They never really had a connection with Barbir.

That's about half-right ... there would need to be some comment about beating NYCFC to him, too.

The first 20 seconds of slow jog as he's subbed off...you had me at hello. About two minutes in he makes a great move and lets the ball roll out. That's a highlight. Like Ilsinho and Andrew Wenger had a baby.
    .
As Richie Ashburn used to say when a fan speared a lined foul, GET THAT MAN A CONTRACT!!!!

I don't think Ilsinho's problem is not enough steak.

So we put in an offer for this guy?

By the way, whatever happened to Chris Pontius and Charlie Davies? Do they still play for us?
