This is a good move for the league and for player development IMHO.

Not only that, but homegrown rights are a fantastic acquisition if he turns out to be a player.

 

its a low risk high reward situation. Hopefully we are paying him close to the minimum

 

Guessing it's somewhat more than the minimum since that's why he didn't sign with Red Bull, but if they acquired his HG rights, then who cares?

 

I think this is one of the more underrated acquisitions in the whole league.

Yeah, commentators were really high on him as a backup to Rosenberry when he got drafted. I dunno, maybe he fell because he's an international and not GA.

 

He's cheaper than ray, an earnie pick, and although I've never seen play, probably better than ray. Not reading too much into this but Gaddis posted a picture from Pittsburgh yesterday. Could be a latergram, who knows. But, if he isn't scrimmaging today maybe we can speculate more

 

Not a bad move if they can loan him to a USL team like Pittsburgh that can pick up some of his salary. Bethlehem's useful from a roster management standpoint but it doesn't actually save any money to pay a guy $150k to play down there.
