Funny enough the Najem situation isn't covered. If we really want to get technical I think the Steel had a Red Bull's academy guy last year.
In case anyone missed it: MLS will allow teams to have up to 31 players on their payrolls this year, thanks to new slots for homegrowns: https://t.co/dFl14I2wyC— Jonathan Tannenwald (@thegoalkeeper) February 8, 2017
Maybe this was posted already, but a quote that is nice.... http://www.philadelphiaunion.com/post/2017/02/08/takeaways-jim-curtins-media-call So it was pretty much we traded a 2nd next year for a top 5 pick in the past draft.
Guessing it's somewhat more than the minimum since that's why he didn't sign with Red Bull, but if they acquired his HG rights, then who cares?
Who's depth at RB if he's gone? And I mean actual depth, not like some guy could play there in a pinch.
Yeah, commentators were really high on him as a backup to Rosenberry when he got drafted. I dunno, maybe he fell because he's an international and not GA.
He's cheaper than ray, an earnie pick, and although I've never seen play, probably better than ray. Not reading too much into this but Gaddis posted a picture from Pittsburgh yesterday. Could be a latergram, who knows. But, if he isn't scrimmaging today maybe we can speculate more
Not a bad move if they can loan him to a USL team like Pittsburgh that can pick up some of his salary. Bethlehem's useful from a roster management standpoint but it doesn't actually save any money to pay a guy $150k to play down there.
Gooch piped him in the shower. Now, to be fair he missed the target, but when engaging in a hostile job takeover-you simply can't blame a man for trying to get a head......... Not going to say anymore about this ongoing saga. Gonna think some things mind you////just not going to say anymore about it.
