Looks like Chicago is shopping Jimmy Butler around. Paul George seems headed to be a 1 year rental somewhere.
Cavs dump their GM David Griffin. (they had an actual GM?!?!) Chauncey Billups a possible replacement.
I thought THIS move was funny. As if Griffin was the man pulling the strings in Cleveland and is somehow "responsible" for them not winning this year.
I've read the Cavs are more focused on Jimmy Butler. Geroge as you said going for a rental, then likely signing for the Lakers in free agency. Also Iggy wants out of GS. I'd say he'd be a great pick up for the Clippers, but in all honesty he wouldn't be. This isn't Iguodala from 2010 anymore.
Man Phil Jackson has lost it completely. Any chance the Cavs swoop in? Or Boston? Likely headed for a championship team. Read that the demands were high, but you never know. In any case, I love it how people complain about these superteams being formed and what not, but were actually on a spiral, where you'll likely need more and more ''stars'' to win a championship (now it's 3 or already 4). The demand to win a championship has risen so high, you just can't compete if you don't have a superteam. I reckon we'll see a team made up of 5 ''All Star'' type players in the not so distant future. I know salary wise that can't happen, but no one thought you'd see 4 All Stars playing together, yet here we are.
Thought this was an interesting read - man the #2 slot kinda sux although KD should improve that considerably. Very surprised not to see Sprewell in at #24. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/19657372/the-best-picks-every-nba-draft-slot
I don't get the warriors being unfair because they have 4 all stars. Klay and Dray didn't look like they would turn out to be surefire all stars under Mark Jackson. Now two MVP's being on the same team... yeah I could see that. Meanwhile, Kyrie says he'll force a trade if LeBron bails. Welcome back to irrelevancy, Cleveland.
Funny, seeing some reports linking the Clippers with PG. Like, what can you offer the Pacers - a bag of peanuts and a front row seat? Pluh-ease. Also funny that any links are coming up, since they haven't resigned their two best players. I mean, I don't see them leaving, but still.
This is a awful, terrible, garbage move by the Lakers. Russell and Mozgov to the Nets for Brook Lopez and the 27th pick?! What a joke! Words cannot describe how trash this move is.
So Lonzo is officially a Laker with that trade if u needed anymore hints. This sheds 54m off their cap.. Which according to woj means PG most likely LA bound + LBJ a real option.
Philly to draft Fultz.. Boston Jackson.. Also rumors that Cs will package what the Sixers gave them to Chicago for Butler.
Rumors.. 28th and 27th pick + Randle/Clarkson for PG LBJ at 35 might be bionic.. He's physically not human.
Even if we played that scenario out, a team of Ball-George-LeBron-Randle-Zubac Clarkson-Nwaba-Ingram-Deng-Nance-Black Still isn't enough to beat Golden State. It's not even better than Cleveland right now, frankly. The Lakers needed to be patient and play the long game, build around young assets, maybe add a Paul George if he's willing to come in FA. Not this trash "WIN NOW DAMMIT" philosophy.

Not sure Phil ever had it did he? I never would have pegged him for such an awful GM. Confused about how you love how people complain about super teams? GSW weren't a super team until Curry went nuts - I'm not sure anyone saw that one coming. And let's face it, Shane Battier deserved to be an All Star.
