Miami has clinched the points title for the season and the #1 seed in the playoffs. San Francisco has clinched the #2 spot even if they don't win the Fall season.

Indy and Edmonton are still mathematically alive but they will probably be eliminated this week.

The main fight is between the Cosmos and Jacksonville for the final spot. The Cosmos have a slight goal difference lead but that will likely go down to the final weekend of the season. Either could catch North Carolina who only has two games left: hosting San Francisco and at Indianapolis. NCA should still make the playoffs since it is very unlikely that both would catch up.

Remaining schedule for the Cosmos and Jacksonville:

    COS: pur, jax, PUR
    JAX: EDM, COS, sfo

The Cosmos-Puerto Rico game this week is on a neutral field. That JAX-COS game on Sunday, October 22, looms huge especially since the Armada have to go to San Francisco the last week while the Cosmos get Puerto Rico at home the final Saturday.

Next loss by either Edmonton or Puerto Rico puts them second all-time in losses in one season. Atlanta's 20 in 2011 can't be caught this year, Edmonton could get to 19 (given they have three games left), while PR could get to 18. Edmonton and PR play each other Wednesday, so they can't both lose out.

Miami has clinched the points title for the season and the #1 seed in the playoffs. San Francisco has clinched the #2 spot even if they don't win the Fall title which is still possible. North Carolina has clinched a playoff spot although they could drop to the #4 seed.

Remaining schedule for North Carolina, Cosmos and Jacksonville:

    NCA: ind
    COS: PUR
    JAX: sfo

The Cosmos have the only "home" game on the final weekend which gives them a big advantage. And they pretty much only have to draw. If they get 1 point, the Armada would need to win by 5 to overtake the Cosmos on goal difference since NY also has a big advantage on goals scored, the second tie-breaker. North Carolina doesn't play at Indy until Sunday so they will know exactly what they need to stay in 3rd. Either way a draw is probably good enough for them.

Austin-Tindall Park is in Kissimmee. This will be the only match that will probably feel like a home match for PRFC. The city has around 60,000 people, 60% of whom are Hispanic. Of that 60%, a full third are of Puerto Rican descent. Plus PRFC has been training at the park after the storm (Orlando City trains there too) and half the ticket sales are going to the Carmelo Anthony Fund. The bleachers at the park hold around 1500.
