1,348 in Jacksonville Still nothing from PR or SF. The number from SF could be bad. One of the fans was steaming the game and there seemed to be only a handful of people there.
The league hasn’t even put the highlights up for both those games. You can watch the highlights to the Jacksonville game just not the other 2.
Why did the Deltas play at Boxer and not Kezar? (EDIT: oh, this was a rescheduled game.) And I would imagine PR did not bring out many folks to Central Broward.
Yeah I doubt there will be an SF number. From the sound of it they were just waving the few people that showed up through the gate. So no turnstile or ticket collection to get a number. 0 is the likely "official" number.
I get that. But there was - according to Kezar - no conflict at Kezar that night. They seem to have reached the point where they looked for any way to avoid paying to rent Kezar when that game got postponed. Which is a sure sign that they're in hospice.
Shoulda gone. Final home game of the regular season. But I was out there earlier for USWNT practice, then drove to Winston-Salem and back. Long day. Plus I'll be there early tomorrow. Haven't decided whether to get there for the UNC/Louisville game on Field 2 at 10am or not, but I'll be working the USWNT/KOR game.
Some of that is due to the presence of the Courage. The 12 (13 with playoffs) extra games of seat inventory did have some effect. It'll be interesting to see how both teams do next year.
It’s a sell out in Jacksonville today. So this is what “sold out” looks like in our ticketing system - 9,400 seat Hodges Stadium is *SOLD OUT* for tomorrow pic.twitter.com/vy3Bal25ck— Robert Palmer (@rp_robertpalmer) October 22, 2017
I see what you did there Great comeback to earn a point, hopefully, a few casual fans become season ticket holders as a result.
Jacksonville is one of two teams in the NASL (the Deltas are the other) that use turnstile attendance. The club certainly could have reported 9400 today, but they stuck to their new reporting method.
It's a big step from casual to season ticket holder. There's a reason casuals are casuals. That's a lot of faith to put in one 90-minute game.
Sounds like the Deltas are giving away free tickets. Might see a spike in attendance. Hopefully. Interesting press release from @sfdeltas, Oct 28th game will be "in front of the largest crowd all season. With over 9,000 tickets issued"— Chris Kivlehan (@kivlehan) October 24, 2017
