The MLSPU has updated their salary listing for all the players. Some interesting numbers in here, including that Kamara's salary has come down from last year.

I'm surprised our new "striker" only makes $65k. Isn't that the rookie salary? He was highly touted coming in to the league, so I figured he's be getting something close to what Knighton and Shuttleworth were getting.

Also, I know Caldwell is a homegrown product, but does anyone else find it ridiculous that Teal Bunbury makes 100k more than him?

There are twenty-eight players making $1 million or more in guaranteed comp. Timbers lead the league with 4 of them:

    4: POR
    3: COL, NYC, SEA, TOR
    2: ATL, CHI, LAG
1: CMB, NRB, ORL, PHI, RSL, VAN
0: DAL, DCU, HOU, SKC, MIN, MON, NER, SJE

My guess is he made close to the in the Championship as a backup keeper. He was also out of contract according to this article - http://www.mkdons.com//news/article...eague-one-us-soccer-3125168.aspx?site=desktop

Jack Barmby is a similar case and he is making 65k.

I though Angoua was a good signing. But at $800,000? No way.

Teal is probably the most over paid player in the league for what he brings to the table.....which half the time he never even shows up to the table! ba dum dum!

Angoua is at 654K You are looking at Kamara who is at 800k 654 is still a lot for what he shown so far. I have no issues with what they are paying Delamea. Solid pick up

Anyone else find it ridiculous that Teal makes over $100k to begin with?

it is worth noting that only Kamara and Kuoussi is costing the team any money directly from the teams pocket.

Every other player on the roster is paid by the league.

Kamara/Kouassi is costing the team a little under $740k this year. This money is part of the overall budget the team likely has to manage in their hopes to remain near break even after all costs and revenues are factored in at the end of the fiscal year from ownership's POV.

yeah, but they really kneed to arm themselves if they are going to stay ahead of teams like Filthy-delphia and not hand the playoff spots to Chicago...

Yeah, but because the Revs don't pay those big salaries, they can spread that money around for a deeper team, right?

There are some real mistakes in those salaries

    Underpaid
Cropper, Kobayashi, Tierney, Rowe, Caldwell, Farrell

    Overpaid
    Bunbury, Kamara, Kouassi, Angoua....

Bottom line is I think most of the big money players are not worth it. Im not sure if Kamara is worth half his current salary. Also we have starters making what bench players get on other teams. The worst is case is Cropper. Its criminal what theyre paying a starting keeper
