Movsysian does not fit the team's style of play. It's either him or several other younger attacking players. The team needs a target forward the fast guys can play off, and that's not Yura.
LAG denied any interest in Movsisyan. Supposedly they're still chasing Gignac. Speaking of Tigres, they just signed Enner Valencia from West Ham. Along with Gignac and Eduardo Vargas that has to be the scariest front 3 in Liga MX history.
Andres Guardado's move to Real Betis was confirmed today for 2 million Euro. At that price I think there would have been a few MLS teams willing to deal. Most likely the decision was driven by Guardado. Getting a shot in what I consider the strongest league in the world will keep him as a likely starter for El Tri going into a World Cup year.
Shaun Francis from Quakes to Montreal for either 2018 2nd rd pick or GAM depending on something or another. https://www.sjearthquakes.com/post/...-trade-defender-shaun-francis-montreal-impact

Anyone else get the sense that it's been a slow start to the transfer window? So far the only two that seem to be bold moves are Valeri Qazaishvili and Tomas Martinez. And maybe Brad Guzan, but we've known about that one for months. The rest seem to be squad players like Leerdam, Hasler, Silva, Mabiala, Lobato, Van Anholt, Nicholson and Boxall. We missed out on all the Mexican stars we were courting ... Chicharito, Guardado and Ochoa. Missed out on Keisuke Honda, Juan Quintero and Cristobal Jorquera. Derlis Gonzalez seems to be dead right now. Not sure where the Jhon Murillo rumor is at. There's still the Ibrahimovic rumor floating around. Also Sneijder and now Michael Carrick. But still kind of a meh silly season for me.
Wait, the window has started? Couldn't tell that from the Rapids FO. (Oh, and they squashed that Carrick rumor fairly quickly, thank god)
Quakes signed a Swiss CB from FC Luzern. Francois Affolter, 26 with 5 caps for Switzerland. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017/07/21/san-jose-earthquakes-sign-swiss-defender-francois-affolter

SKC looking to get paid. A lot. Deal is almost done for Dwyer to @OrlandoCitySC. Details: $600-650k allocation $$ with potential of it being $1.3M!! @MLS history!— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) July 25, 2017 Edit: KC writer saying that this is a done deal. #SportingKC has agreed to trade Dom Dwyer to Orlando City SC in exchange for $1.6 million in allocation money, $700K of which is incentives.— Sam McDowell (@SamMcDowell11) July 25, 2017
OFFICIAL: #SportingKC acquires up to $1.6 million in Allocation Money from @OrlandoCitySC in exchange for Dom Dwyer.https://t.co/0NGmkImIYK— Sporting Kansas City (@SportingKC) July 25, 2017
I was thinking more of "undisclosed" since we never actually knew what it was. https://www.sportingkc.com/post/201...cation-money-orlando-city-sc-exchange-forward 400k in general allocation, 500k in targeted allocation, and up to 700k based on performance. So, welcome back to KC Kristian Nemeth (since I think that is where some of this money goes, to trade up to #1 in the allocation ranking). Edit: And I swear I didn't see this until after I posted. Per league source, SKC is in talks with Columbus Crew about top spot in allocation order as they try to bring Krisztian Nemeth back to #MLS.— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) July 25, 2017
I'm just saying that if SKC were to get Nemeth out of this I think that attack is a hell of a lot better than with Dwyer up top flopping for fouls he will never get and shanking chance after chance. One thing no one has mentioned. Does his mean Larin is gone as well?
