It's a win. I said it last DC match, and I'll say it again. It doesn't matter how good, or bad, DCU is, they ALWAYS find a way to screw up against us.
Win. Blind hog finding an acorn/at least we are not as bad as (insert favorite meme here)/dumb luck/bounce off the bottom of the barrel...of course, DC is probably thinking the same thing. Should be a crap game, see you there.
In ten years if/when there's a push for pro-rel in MLS how many of our matches against DC will be held up in evidence by the pro-rel camp?
I predict a win followed by stories telling us how the union have turned a corner, how curtin just needed time, and playoffs here we come
... and social media postings like "Curtin's subs were rated 3rd most impactful in MLS by meaninglesssoccerstats.com"
I'd like to see Najem get some minutes during this game. He's looked pretty good with Steel the past couple games. He has the vision to create chances in the final third and perhaps most importantly (to Curtin anyway), the guy actually runs and applies pressure.
Tie. Two crap teams. One craptastic game. 0-0. Has to be. Expect a lot of Angry Ben gesturing and Befuddled Jim extending his arms heavenward as these two tactical titans tease, taunt and tittilate thousands of taut team toadies in theatrical thrills.....in my best fake 5th grade Howard Cosell impression.
You forgot to add that no matter how inept we may be throughout the game, it will somehow be the ref's fault.
Loss. Somehow the U will screw this up and the PR department interns will somehow come up with something asinine to say about it. Thankfully I will be in the mountains without a way to watch.
I believe a lot of you did not see DC play Atlanta on Wednesday. If they continue to play like that they will zoom up the chart while we will stay on the bottom.

The placement of the defenders in the lineup graphic had me wondering if my salad was laced with PCP, for a second. Whew, a misprint.
1-0 so, that's 3 points for the Union-and even more for me........ Stoica: Tommy: "in all my years watching this game I've never seen a ref eat a red." Hey, some people like ketchup ! Three stars: *** : Gooch -handbag aside, the man made a number of critical interventions ** : Picault - GW goal + entertaining work rate normally would have made it his night under most circumstances........but I'm shameless. * (MotM)- Saved PK. Saved point-blank header in stoppage. Saved me 5 points on the exacta.
