Locally Boston City is playing in the second round this Wednesday in Revere. They won their first ever USOC matchup at Western Mass last week.
GPS Omens, which plays in the Bay State Soccer League, beat the NPSL's Boston City FC, 2-1, in a battle of Massachusetts amateur teams on goals by Keith Caldwell, brother of New England Revolution midfielder Scott Caldwell, and Charles Romero. https://www.socceramerica.com/artic...sees-four-upstarts-advance.html?edition=17223
Boston City and the rest of the NPSL teams did not fare well in the 2nd round, going a combined 0-8. USL fared the best, with 15 of their 18 entrants advancing to round 3. USL teams comprise 58% of round 3. NASL went 4-2, PDL went 4-8, and USASA went 3-5. No additional teams added in Round 3. MLS will join in Round 4 (June 14th).

Mad props to GPS Omens for representing the Bay State League! I used to play for a team called Charles River SC in that league back in the mesozoic era. Well, maybe it was really the Renaissance, since Michelangelo was our GK. No, he really was. The guy's name was Mike Angelo.
