KMJ has really long legs, he doesn't need to use his body. Just stick his leg in and he has the ball. He's almost like an octopus.

I really wish he goes to Europe to Challenge himself. I don't think the K-league is physical enough for him to develop here.

My biggest worry with Kim Min-jae is his lack of technical skills. Maybe not good enough to play for a high table team.

Otherwise for a low table team can be a solid defender.

The morons that runs K-League summed up in one picture:

Feel bad for the players who have to suffer because of those idiots. Expanding into SEA my a*se, they couldn't even tap into the domestic market.

    - Assemble a bunch of random players & managers that are not really all-stars.
    - No foreigners.
    - Choose opponent that has been preparing weeks for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games.
    - Players & managers were only together 2-4 days max
    - Expect to play entertaining football
    - Fly to Vietnam the day before the all-star match
    - Players are gassed out after 20-30 minutes

    What were they thinking?

The only winner from that all-star match. That yellow billboard stuck out like a sore thumb.

Could have went for some Korean fried chicken after that match.

im thinking kleague massively disparaged the players for this 'event' and figured 'whinny' foreign players would be too much of a nuisance to drag them along. i bet each players got a few 100000 wons if that

Also, the idea of making an all-start team play a f*cking U-22 team... It's a no-win situation. You are expected to win, and if you lose, the supposed league 'all-stars' are losing to a youth team :rolleyes:.

Do they honestly think the league would be more marketable if the 'all-star' team gets owned by a crappy U-22 team?

There is an upcoming mid-week match. The league is screwing the players over. No wonder the mercs were not invited/(or probably refused).

cant find it but video of yesterdays training was uploaded in full. one of the highlights was kim yongdae&jo hyunwoo training by themselves with no gk coach in sight and no one to retrieve the ball. they had to go around gathering the ball after each session so they just gave up and kicked long balls to each other

Don't know what goes on in these guys' heads.

Could have done the "Classic vs Challenge", "2012 vs 2002", or "Koreans vs Foreigners" all-star type matches again. Any of those previous all-star matches would have been entertaining.

I don't know who gave the green light to play against a youth national team.

jeonbuk had to convince the league not to take too many of their players (also made them pick kim shinwook over lee jaesung) and i heard choi kanghee refused to lead the team. basically no one wanted to take part in this

majority of the fans want the all star event gone and much of the rest dont care either way, especially if it is organized like it was this year. just get rid of it

    Obviously the 한국프로축구연맹 morons.

Their logic: it's impossible break into the domestic market (conveniently forgetting that it's because of their utter incompetence) > Vietnamese love hallyu, we're Korean so they'll love K-League football (again conveniently forgetting the expansion of hallyu in SEA took years of effort and management, and more importantly their utter incompetence) > Let's send off players to play their U-22 team, then our 'all-star' team wouldn't need to practise (so they don't need to pay for a week's worth of a trip) and still trounce them

Yeah, now that the cr*ppy U-22 team has beaten them how the f*ck are they planning on appealing to the SEA market?

They need to work on the domestic market first.
Sadly these people aren't willing to take risk.

When your k league all star players don't have Jhonathan and Lee Jae-sung (both) then...you know it's a bullshit.

I'd used to enjoy watching relay race during All-Star Games.

Excuse me for writing about an old news.

But in regards to the embarrassment of an "All-Star" match in Vietnam, why wasn't Truong included in the squad? If the K-league organizers wanted the fixture to be a marketing opportunity, maybe it would have been a good idea to bring Truong.
