How many of guys here actually remember wargamer who is now going with the name kimichiking here and pandora on PFDC? He's the one who started the original Iran/Korea flame wars on Bigsoccer back in 2002-2005 era lol . You would think he would be different now than 15 years ago , but no he hasn't changed a bit.

Anyone knows when the next Korea match is going to be played at the Sangam? I'm in Seoul and I want to catch a match

Unfortunately, no Sang-am for the U-20 World Cup. Too many empty seats during the finals of the 2007 U-17 WC left a bad impression on FIFA to reject the idea of using Seoul as a venue for the U-20 tournament.

We've had plenty of amateur ballers that played for KNT. And I do mean PLENTY. As a matter of fact, I'd say the overwhelming majority of KNT players did not play pro-ball as debutants. So why state the obvious that he will get called up when he plays pro-ball, when he can get called up NOW?

What does carrying some bags got to do with Ahn Ik-soo's performance? Ahn is a terrible coach, I admit but I don't understand this argument. We don't want Lee Sueng-woo on the national team because we don't want him carrying bags? Let the little fcker carry some bags, it won't hurt him.

What does a "brand new cycle" have anything to do with this? Why is that important? Because you feel like it?

well...i think, like batumchange said, is important for LSW to avoid SHITLIKE.

Much better start with a new manager (STY would be ideal), adding some players from the current under 20 squad (LSW, HCH, PSH)

Right now LSW really would not be helpful to KNT's cause.

You say Lee Sueng-woo should avoid Hitler, implying that its for the benefit of Lee Sueng-woo. Then you say Lee Sueng-woo would not help KNT, meaning that this is for the benefit of KNT. So, now you're confusing me. What are you saying? That there's some mutual benefit? If so, then are you claiming that Lee Sueng-woo isn't good enough for KNT (laughable, when we have clowns like Nam Tae-hee) or are you saying that he is good enough but he should avoid Hitler because you feel like it, without thinking this through?

LSW wont be helpful cause he wont win matches by himself, and SHITLIKE is not going to teach him anything.

With or without LSW in the roster, S. Korea will go home after group stages in Russia.

AFC performed the worst in 2014, no wins. Your probably right if SK makes it to Russia it will leave early, but so will Japan/SA/Iran. Pretty standard for asian countries if you take 2002 out..

That's the standard for asian country but sometimes one of them reached the round of 16 :
    North Korea quarter final 1966
Saudi Arabia round of 16 1994
    Australia round of 16 2006
Japan and SK round of 16 2010

I won't be that surprised if Iran and Japan would reach the next round because I feel Vahid can make Japan improve and Iran has been in good form for a while. But it depends on many things...

The losing team between Japan and Italy will be most likely go home.

Otherwise, with a draw...it means that Argentina would be at best the 4th team out of 6.

Does anyone know how Portugal plays? Their strengths/weaknesses, compared to Korea, etc.

Edit: 4th minute and Japan already 0-1 behind
