    Good squad except our fullbacks suck.

    Rafa needs to be brought back from exile after refusing to go to the Olympics.

    This team needs a better rightback and it would be challenging for the title.

    Joao Cancelo should be given to the u21's.

    Cedric/Nelson Semedo should be going to the Confed Cup, and with a full healthy squad Renato Sanches wont be missed, so both he and Joao Cancelo should be at the U21 euros.

    Imagine they actually field that team and they are cohesive? Dangerous.

    Here's our squad, 25 players with probably Horta and Francisco Ramos getting cut.

    Lista de Convocados:

    Guarda-redes: Bruno Varela, Joel Pereira e Miguel Silva;
    Defesas: Fernando Fonseca, Pedro Rebocho, Kevin Rodrigues, João Cancelo, Edgar Ié, Ruben Semedo e Tobias Figueiredo;

    Médios: Rúben Neves, Francisco Ramos, Tomás Podwastki, Renato Sanches, Francisco Geraldes, João Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes e Rony Lopes;

    Avançados: Podence, Jota, Gonçalo Guedes, Iuri Medeiros, Ricardo Horta, Gonçalo Paciência e Bruma.

    What a squad, possibly rivaling that of 2015 (weaker defense this time around but better forwards compared to Cavaleiro and Ricardo)

    My only changes would be Rafa for Rebocho but Rafa has been ostracized since pulling out of the olympics at the last second, and Domingos Duarte at CB for Tobias or Edgar Ie.

    ----------------------------Joel Periera/Bruno Varela--------------------------
    -------------------Semedo---------------------Tobias/Ie----------------------------
    Cancelo----------------------------------------------------------------------Kevin
    ---------------------------------Ruben Neves----------------------------------------
    --------------Renato Sanches-----------------Bruno Fernandes----------------
    Iuri Medeiros------------------Jota/Guedes------------------------------Bruma

    Or a 4-4-2

    ----------------------------Joel Periera/Bruno Varela--------------------------
    -------------------Semedo---------------------Tobias/Ie----------------------------
    Cancelo----------------------------------------------------------------------Kevin
    ---------------------------------Ruben Neves----------------------------------------
    --------------Renato Sanches-----------------Bruno Fernandes----------------
    -------------------------------Marcos Lopes---------------------------------------------
    -----------------Iuri Medeiros/Jota/Guedes----Bruma---------------------------------

    I would say we're the best in the competition but Spain's squad is astounding as well.

    The Cancelo/Sanches inclusions says we mean business. After the U17 not making Croatia and the dismal start for the U20 in Korea we need a positive competition.

    Scoring goals(ST) and keeping them out(CBs) will be our weakness. On the flanks and through the middle, we're the best in the tournament.

    Really surprised Marcos Lopes was cut when he starts for Lille, and Ricardo Horta stays.

    -------------------------------Joel Periera/Bruno Varela-----------------------------------
    -------------------Ruben Semedo--------------------Tobias----------------------------------
    Cancelo-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Kevin
    -----------------------------------Ruben Neves--------------------------------------------------
    ----------------Bruno Fernandes-----------------Renato Sanches-------------------------
    --------Iuri Medeiros----------------Jota/Guedes-------------------------------Bruma

    Rafa, the leftback on loan from Porto at Rio Ave should be here. Rui Jorge is still harbouring a grudge when he pulled out of the olympic squad last summer.

    Also I'm unsure about Tobias, Fabio Cardoso who just signed for Rangers and Domingos Duarte might both have been better options.
