Please start a new thread for fall schedules as per usual. I can picture going back and forth between fall and spring announcements will be less efficient than the good old standard eefallen held us to. And reminder... we still care about getting schedules posted as soon as they are available... whether they be on html, excel, pdf, tweet or the back of a napkin. So don't ever chide people for putting out 'unofficial' links because these early gems are often the best kind!

What's the deal with spring schedules? Do the Seniors bag it (or are shown the door) after the Fall? Or do they try to cling to one final meaningless soccer hoorah? Wouldn't some teams have short rosters sans seniors? tanx for nuttin in advance, Noonan.

No Seniors. The point of Spring is to get the 2nd and 3rd stringers ready to be starters. In many cases the seniors have been gone since December.

I have seen seniors play in spring games at Santa Clara and Stanford when they could not otherwise field a team due to injuries/missing players.

Here is Loyola (MD)'s schedule page: http://www.loyolagreyhounds.com/new...-six-match-schedule-in-spring-2017-02-08-2017

Thank you for that information, eefallen. What I found particularly interesting was that Pittsburgh will be scrimmaging the men's club team. I don't consider that playing "a level up" because that's sexist, but it could be a different pace for them. I am sure women's teams scrimmaging men's teams is not unusual, as I know it is a tactic used in women's basketball and perhaps women's soccer to use a team of men for scouting purposes. But to have the game open and available to the public, that seems different.
