Assist to Brooks. Assist to Dempsey. Against Ghana and Portugal respectively, in Brazil.

We actually pulled it off. Let's hope the 6 changes breathe new life and give us some entertaining football.

3-0 and should have been 5-0 is a fine result, and ultimately winning your group with a B team isn't the worst thing in the world.

Though outside of Rowe, there weren't a ton of standout performances from the guys trying to break though, which was kind of the hope for this stage. With 5 A teamers coming in, there's not going to be many more chances. That's a bit of a bummer

Miazga honestly looked more calm and composed than Besler. Composed touches, great headers. Though, clearly, he was CB number 2. I'd like to see him and Brooks. Or Cameron.

disagree... alot of players made cases to move up in the pecking order:

    hamid > guzan
    miazga > hedges, omar
    lichaj > zusi
agudelo, morris dwyer = decent options
    rowe > zardes

Hell, they won in Jamaica in WCQs. They're not that bad, as CONCACAF minnows go.

I was kind of half joking. They do favor Latin players but I agree that Rowe or Bedoya were deserving

I always give him crap, but Bedoya played very well. One of the best performances I remember.

Rowe's an interesting case. I was higher on him in the past, but he's making a good case.

Miazga had a really nice defense splitting pass in the first half and another lesser but still nice forward pass in the 2nd that I don't think some of our other centerbacks would have pulled off or perhaps even tried, he picked his angles smartly as well the few times he was needed to defend, it's Nicaragua yes but Omar and Hedges had trouble in the Martinique game so I hope Miazga moved up in the depth chart

Also credit to Bedoya for the game he had

At this point he needs an organizer paired with him. He can't be the organizer. That's the knock on him.

I'm never going to defend Guzan cuz I don't think he belongs anywhere near this roster but Hamid really didn't do much

I don't think Hamid and Miazga had busy days to be honest. I disagree on Agudelo, and I think Lichaj is overrated tbh. I did forget about Dwyer though, so touche

Why isn't Miazga the top CB in this squad? If he's not starting next match, I'm confused.

Hamid is better than Guzan, and maybe Howard. No idea why we can't just move on from these two old timers. Just because they have experience? So does my grandfather, but I run faster than him.

Rowe seems pretty decent, at least has a little imagination out there.

    Everyone else is meh.

I never thought I'd be sitting around thinking "jeez, we really need MB in this squad", yet there I was. So tired of trotting out the same old timers in goal, MB, demps, even altidore at this point. But I'm eating crow now, because we simply aren't good. The U-20/U-17 guys can't age fast enough.

By the same rule, you guys struggled with Martinica and you know how ended the today's matches. I think we had a difficult time with Nicas because we faced them a lot... Per example we played at the last Uncaf Nations cup back in January and the game ended 2-1 too. We know each other very well. They have improved a lot but need more professional experience... being at the Gold Cup is awesome for their expectations in the future.

I think the top 2 are bold statements for players who didn't have a lot to do
