Dude, you need to get off the Bradley haters train. Did he ***k you in the behind or something? I am a critic of Bradley, but the guy did fine today.
Between his performance and the lack of performance from other CM's he's far and away the biggest winner of this tournament
If I had to guess, the opponent will be Mexico. You guys also realize that the stands for that match will be 99% Mexican fans, right?
I would prefer Mexico, they did not impress me this tournament. But I believe Jamaica is going to win tomorrow.
Yes, I don't understand how a practically perfect performance can be criticized. He made practically all his passes, didn't lose the ball, disarmed the opponents a few times, distributed well the game, what else would anybody want from a midfielder?
I think Jamaica might be a worse matchup with their speed and our slow defenders. They can't finish though.
From 1-10 he had a solid 8 today, he didn't risk any but he didn't lose any ball, I didn't see him doing that much tackling.
Usually I always prefer MEX because it feels so good to beat them, but since we screwed the pooch so royally last GC, I'd be happy if they don't make the final this year. Rivals and all...
Last GC we had an idiot as our coach and the players were pissed off and demoralized. This time it's different.
For me to give him a 9 or a 10, he should have had an assist or do something more aggressive on offense, do more tackling on desense, an 8 is a fair rating.
No, I know. I mean that since we didn't make the final last time, I'd be happy if Mexico didn't make it this time. To keep it even or something.
Yes, without a doubt the US will be the minority. We have an extra day to get tickets but that doesn't mean anything. I'm sure there is a thread for this but I would love to figure out what we can do differently to get more American fans to games. It's so frustrating to watch the US become the away team in our own country.
Yes, not to forget, if it's Jamaica we won't have the entire stadium against us, throwing stuff on the field.
Our fans just have to be more committed. We got 45K in Dallas today and pretty all of them were cheering for the US. If we get 2/3's of that to buy tickets in San Francisco than the fan split will be 50/50. Mexico fans don't have any special ticket purchasing super powers that the US fans don't.
Great run of tough opponents we've faced. I am sure the WC will be like this too... Being a better team, having a better domestic league with higher quality football and taking soccer more seriously as a nation might help; just a couple guesses...
