Next match against Iraq, but we're pretty much in the quarterfinals.

totally took the foot off the pedal for the last 20 min. The coach will probably play his bench players next match vs Iraq

Our FBs look promising. Especially the RB. He's so stable in defense and knows when to get forward.

so we scored 12 goals and conceded 0 so far.
Next up is India. I think it's fair to say we are very likely to qualify for the world cup.

I think many of these players are good technically (dribbling) but I don't like how they are so short. Many of them aren't over 180. But they are 16 so I hope they grow taller.

I refuse to believe that Tajikistan had the ability to produce players that are noticeably strong and faster then our players and someone keep up technically. I smell overages players

playing guys 1-2 years senior isnt too bad and probably unavoidable. its countries like iraq that ruin the competition by deliberately bringing players 3-4 years older

Doping, age fraud, etc. Those Tajik players were way too physically strong/fast for their age. Even Australia's U16 would have struggled against them physically.

But it doesn't matter. Main goal was the 2019 U17 WC, so I'm not too disappointed.

For your information this has changed. FIFA has started an investigation on age fraud in Iraq and as a result all the youth teams has been cleaned up of overaged players. You maybe noticed it by the heights of the players, and the results :p

i heard of this change by Iraq's FA. It will still be hard to regulate w/o proper formal governmental structure. But its a step in the correct direction.

Also FYI for the ppl who believe the x-ray to the growth plates (bone) is evidence of age. you are completely misinformed. All the x-rays tell you is if you are a fully grown man or not. You can have active growth plates until low 20's. Most ppl dont know this crap and use it as support. We are not trees, you cant count lines on the growth plate to figure out your age.

well, unfortunately, as you probably know, many Koreans lie about their birthdays to ensure they aren't the youngest. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't 1-2 that shouldn't have made this tournament that are playing in it.

How are you going to lie when you get a national ID number and are registered at birth in the hospital. This isn't immediately post 6-25 where people were registered a year or two late after their birth due to the war.

you have to go back to the likes of song jonggook and ko jongsu to track the last generation of korean players who were older than their registered birthday stated. over 20 years ago since they played at underage level. dont know of anyone else who had been received with age accusation since. lying about age doesnt seem possible in korea anyways. you get electronically recorded the day you are born right at the hospital. supposdely song jonggook was born in the middle of nowhere outside of a hospitalized institution and his parents registered him a few months late
