Leicester City have now confirmed they have an agreement for Adrien (still no fee stated, but they had not said anything until now) - still pending international clearance. #lcfc confirm terms have been agreed for the transfer of Adrien Silva, subject to international clearance ➡️ https://t.co/nEKAm2EMXW pic.twitter.com/vkrm4yId7F— Leicester City (@LCFC) September 1, 2017
Too bad for the player, but the player no longer has a contract with us so the problem is now between him, Leicester and FIFA. All we require now is the money from the transfer and it would be nice if we could show some transparency and announce the transfer value. On a side note, after the player tried to force a move last year and has seemed desperate to leave for years now, it's a bit ironic that they have rejected the transfer immediately.
It was Nice, and I think that one went to court. Player ended up being a free player and went to Benfica and then his career went downhill. Poor choice of words
No one has mentioned officially how much he cost yet which is pretty frustrating. I wouldn't be surprised if something's going on and Leicester maybe is trying to back out of paying right away.
BdC had an interview today for the club's channel, and among a bunch of other things talked about the Adrien transfer: - he clarified and reiterated that FIFA rejected the player's inclusion in the Premier League and not the transfer itself - Sporting submitted the documentation on time and Leicester also submitted almost all the documentation in time except for the last document which was submitted a few seconds after the deadline - Criticized the above; saying that this is an athlete's life we're dealing with and more than just submitting documents on time. - It's the second time we've had dealings with Leicester, the first was with Carrillo where the club behaved in an excellent and professional manner but the player decided to abort the deal at the time - He spoke several times with Adrien throughout the night - Thanked him for his 15 years of service, reiterating "this will always be his home" but understands his desire for a new adventure and hope that a solution is found, if not now then in January - Highlighted the player's excellent attitude throughout the whole deal and says he deserves to be playing - Leicester are appealing the decision - If the appeal fails, its not the end of the world, we had the cases of Andre Pinto and Bruno Cesar who were training with us well before they joined
Well, as everyone already knew, BdC lied about not receiving an offer for William. Looks like West Ham is next on the list of clubs that will never negotiate with us again. Tbf it was a terrible offer. They said it would've been a record offer for us, and 25mil is definitely not a record fee.
lmao I hope for West Ham's sake that email screenshot is fake. What an unprofessional email. Written like that, for that value and under those conditions? I wouldn't consider this an official offer either. Apparently they're getting roasted by their fans on twitter lol.
Where are the reply emails from someone in the SCP brass saying no to the offer ? That is proof not some poorly written email with email addresses blocked out.
Without email addresses, email receipts, IP addresses, response emails (one of them has "RE:" is it), every email regarding the transfer, not just two, and additional information, I call bullshit on all of that. Every single bit. Submitting an embarrassingly low offer while paying only 8 million upfront and have incentives for "qualifying for Champions League", (WEST HAM?! CHAMPIONS LEAGUE?!?! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL) with an email ridden with typos and errors is a ********ing disgrace. Nuno Saraiva's reply: "Estão a circular uns supostos emails mal amanhados que pretendem provar a pseudo-narrativa do senhor David Sullivan do West Ham.
Exactly. Also, what is the point of disputing BDC's comment on whether they submitted a bid or not? What good comes of that? Now you've just embarrassed yourself to the whole world. Also, what heppened to that PSG player they allegedly threatened to go after (horrible negotiation tactic that would never be used in a real email in real negotiations)? I don't see him at West Ham.
A lot of people aren't going to want to do business with West Ham after this. They just f*cked their already-horrendous team for years to come
