It's a three-horse race from here on out. A damn good race, though, at least. This should come down to the wire, and it'll be great for the Challenge League. Shame my boys won't be a part of it, but at least I get to watch them online!
You have to go to nefarious websites, but the matches are out there. I've watched every Vaduz match this season after nearly breaking down crying after they were relegated, thinking I might not be able to watch them again. I'm pretty sure I sent a PM to you with those links.
20 Oct Vaduz - Xamax 21 Oct Chiasso - Schaffhausen Servette - Rapperswil-Jona 22 Oct Wohlen - Wil 23 Oct Aarau - Winterthur Top three should remain the same, but Xamax and Servette have potentially tricky matches.
Yes you did my apologies...always paranoid about those sites and any computer viruses that may be lurking.
28 Oct Rapperwvil-Jona vs Chiasso 1-1 Schaffhausen - Aarau 4-1 29 Oct Winterthur - Vaduz 0-1 Xamax - Wohlen 4-2 20 Oct Wil - Servette 0-0 Two dropped points for Servette could loom large. Wil moves above Winterthur. Xamax 33 Schaffhausen 30 Servette 30 Rapperwvil-Jona 16 Vaduz 16 Chiasso 13 Aarau 13 Wohlen 11 Wil 8 Winterthur 7

Read on the Wil site a while back that they are trying to change their fortunes by investing in youth...training...and infrastructure. At least that's what I got out of it. I know their little Turkish experiment failed badly... the old grab and dash to try to get to RSL seldom works. I wish Aarau could figure something out.
3 Nov Schaffhausen - Xamax 4 Nov Servette - Winterthur Wil - Chiasso 5 Nov Vaduz - Aarau 6 Nov Wohlen - Rapperswil-Jona Todays match should be really good. Lets see if Servette can keep up!
17 Nov Aarau - Servette 0-0 That is the 3rd straight 0-0 draw for Servette. All against the bottom 4 clubs. 6 lost points. Also Willie got a 4 match suspension. Good new is that their coach will not become the Bosnian manager. 18 Nov Rapperswil-Jona - Xamax 2-2 Winterthur - Wil 2-0 19 Nov Chiasso - Wohlen 4-0 20 Nov Vaduz - Schaffhausen 2-0 Xamax 37 Servette 32 Schaffhausen 30 Vaduz 22 Rapperswil-Jona 20 Chiasso 19 Aarau 14 Winterthur 11 Wohlen 11 Wil 8

Just curious what the numbers mean on the other side of the team name...right side? the bracket numbers and the +/-? Attendance 3,468 Xamax (7) 2,963 Winterthur (8) +6 2,707 Aarau (8) -39 2,453 Servette (8) -24 1,816 Schaffhausen (7) +34 1,747 Vaduz (8) -106 1,740 Rapperswil-Jona (7) -69 955 Wil (8) -45 687 Wohlen (7) -29 567 Chiasso (7) +7
Attendance 2,963 Winterthur (8 home games) +6 over last week's average XAMAX played on the road so no change in home average!

Looks like a two-horse race for promotion now between Xamax and Servette. Xamax has the inside track, but if Servette can get a win in this next round, then the second of the season is going to be a barn burner. If Xamax gets the win and opens an 8-point lead, I think it'll all be over. For the sake of a competitive second half, Allez Servette!
It's a shame that 1 and 2 don't go up or least a play-off for number 2 v # 9 in the RSL. I have a soft spot for both Xamax and Servette... and next year if Luzern stay bottom they will come back up as Zurich did so... this is the season for Xamax or Servette as neither one of them will be coming back up next season. If you look at the bottom half of the RSL now I think Luzern, Thun and Sion would jump right back up with little effort this years runner-up needs to hope for LS or Lugano to be relegated.
Huge weekend at the top. 2 Dec Aarau - Chiasso Wil - Rapperswil-Jona 3 Dec Vaduz - Wohlen Winterthur - Schaffhausen 4 Dec Servette - Xamax Servette can draw to within 2 points of Xamax, or could end up 8 points behind. At that point, their future would be out of their hands.
The last time that #2 and #9 played was when Servette defeated AC Bellinzona to be promoted. I also would prefer this method. I think that the three most likely teams if relegated to stay in the BCL for more than one season would be Thun, Lugano, and LS. Thun always seems to be on the financial edge. Lugano and LS also seem to hang out around that line as well. The only real chance for 2 teams, Xamax and Servette to gain promotion for next season is both a team to have a terrible summer and voluntary relegate themselves. Not much hope in that, nor do I wish there to be. I prefer a much more stable league. I would prefer 12 or 14 teams, but I understand that for scheduling 10 teams make 36 games very easily.
2 Dec Aarau - Chiasso 3-0 Wil - Rapperswil-Jona 1-0 3 Dec Vaduz - Wohlen 1-1 Winterthur - Schaffhausen 0-1 4 Dec Servette - Xamax All eyes on Geneva tonight. I hope for a good crowd and a great match, and from the selfish side, a Servette victory.
