Yes, coming in for training camp is much smoother not only for him but the other players that have to gel with him as well.

They have a jersey reveal on the first in which most assume will be a red version. I’d laugh if the big hype by the team was the Redbull logo was smaller or a different Redbull logo on the jersey and not a red version.

Veron got better after a training camp but we just continuely select Latin American players that disappoint. Our recruiting there has consistently been disappointing.

I wish we would work on recruiting in the Caribbean and Africa. The players there and European lower leagues have been more useful to us.

I can assure that they would not go so far as even to remove the large Red Bull logo without replacing it with someone else logo, i.e. a shirt sponsor's logo. The good news is Bimbo is already taken.

The flyer on Ndam hasn't really paid off. We do have the U-20 Nigerian (?) guy coming in this year.

I'm not crazy about the TAM in the deal but the team gets younger and Redding helps a depth to a need position. Hopefully he will continue to develop.

What I meant was changing the current RB logo to a different style. Not another company as a shirt sponsor.
As far as the trade, I like it. Kljestan from a couple years ago was better. He seems to now be good game /bad game and now he’s 32.

Same, another guy in the 25-28 range would be great but barring that at least I'm glad they're now looking at guys in their early 20's instead of early 30's.

Now either sign Kaku or another serious attacker please...

On a completely different topic following the schedule reveal: I have been in NYC with a free Saturday each MLS season since 2001, and never has a home MetroStars/Red Bulls game occurred on that free day. But 2018 dawns a new day, and I will be in attendance at the 24 March game against Minnesota.

(Unfortunately, it means I am not due for another game at Red Bull Arena after this until 2036.)

Agreed I would like to see them sign on more veteran CB to add some solid leadership for the young players. I do think that Quintana is a more seasoned player for his age then the others. But I can Politz going to RB2 while we keep Redding with the squad along with Young and two Panamanians (if they are still under contract). The bigger question is Marsh playing a 532/343 or 433 this season. If they resign Taxi, they got a really nice looking 343 on paper.

It would appear the Red Bulls traded their way into a roster problem. At the very least, it would appear that some sources would prefer that the Red Bulls be judged to have created a roster problem for themselves rather than be thought to have faulty scouting instincts.

And it’s not hard to believe that Keita was let go because RBNY had traded itself into a traffic jam.

Great piece. The idea that RBNY isn't using the international player thing well makes sense because I am positive of this org ********ing things up and making it harder for themselves than necessary.

Well, the next rumor is that Felipe and TAM/GAM will be traded to Vancouver for Tim Parker.
