Nobody mentioned his 3 assists in the last 3-1 win from Portimoneise on Sunday? 33 games 10 goals and 13 assists. Crazy season, love this guy. A Must have starter for Japan at the WC2018. Everything else would be insane.
Would be selfdestruct if Shoya isn't starting. The others are Inui, Haraguchi, Usami or Doan. Even if Haraguchi and Usami are in great shape, please no. Would be a slap in the face for first division players who perform also well and shows the hole team . ...it doesn't depend on form/performence. Only Inui or Doan could be a logical solution. Cause both played a great season but Inui lacks goals. A Nakajima is faster then Inui and overall I think a little better but scored and assisted like hell. For me the offensive starting line up need to be MUTO NAKAJIMA - Honda/Morioka - Doan Thats our players with incredible Form over almost the hole season. We need a maximum form who plays with full convidence. Then we have our superb subs like Inui with his great skills and a long term but fighting till death Okazaki, a Honda or Morioka (depends on who starts) and some others. For example a Minamino would be a must have cause he is a Terminator when it comes to sub in and scored. Also we will have a full speed Kubo. When you do it right Japan have a Sack full of good in Form offensive players. Muto and Nakajima are for me the most important players, without them in staring line up i dont have high hopes. Players with good Form no matter if top league or not will do automaticly thing better without knowing it. The hit the ball more directly and have a higher chance to play good, score and assist cause the have the "high" in compare to the outter form players like Osako. They waste with higher chance a sitter normally cause the brain do automaticly some millimeters worse.
Ho ho! Honda again with that gargantuan BS about winning the cup? It was a nice commercial made by JFA in 2005 now stop please.
It will be ironic if Nishino dropped him (wishful thinking that I know will not happen). Anyhow, this article has nothing to do with Inui considering that both of them are different types of players (they are basically playing in different positions too).
He has been getting a lot of praise in Portugal. According to reports, he was scouted earlier in the month by Barcelona, Arsenal and Man United.
Barcelona? That must be wrong... he's still young though, yet he already has the level to play for the likes of Man Untd, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, but not Barcelona yet.
This reminds me about Kagawa situation in 2010. Okada didn't call him that was transfering to BvB from Cerezo. Japan did a wonderful WC. Kagawa did a wonderful Bundesliga. I hope it will happen something similar for both the sides.
A writer for PortuGoal (they cover Portueguese football in English) picked him in the team of the season. https://portugoal.net/club-news/871-portuguese-primeira-liga-team-of-the-season-2017-18
http://www.record.pt/futebol/futebo...-show-em-vitoria-frente-ao-dundee-fc-4-0.html he's already in pretty good shape.
His teammate, Verdy academy graduate Theo Ryuki, is on trial at Urawa, following the transfer of Fabrício in the same direction.
Starts as usual: XI #Portimonense: Ricardo Ferreira; Hackman, Felipe, Lucas Possignolo, Rúben Fernandes, Manafá; Pedro Sá, Dener, Tabata, Nakajima; Wellington.— Fútbol Portugal © 🇵🇹 (@FutbolPortugal) August 13, 2018
As I said they need a striker upfront to score goals and create spaces for players behind him such as Nakajima.
