so ... I was looking through our distributors' inventories a few days back, as I tend to do, and I discovered that the new official 150 year history of Sheffield Wednesday is available over here. Naturally, being the responsible bookstore manager than I am, I decided to bring in a copy for our sports section. well, it arrived today, so of course I started leafing through it ... table of contents ... about the author ... photos and illustrations ... er ... **double take** ... ... lo and behold ... there in a crowd photo from the Brighton@Hillsborough playoff game ... front and center ... it's Beastie and Hollie. I had to laugh. in retrospect, I should probably be more shocked that they're not in more of the photos. but I definitely did not expect to see mates from Yorkshire in the books I carry in my store. I pointed it out to a couple of colleagues, at which point a long-time peer Beth looks up and asks, "is that the fella that wears a thong?". It seems I may have mentioned Beastie before.
I'll be hoping for Notts County, and given where Swansea stand in the League, it'd be no shock for them to be less than committed in a Cup replay. not to put the cart before the horse, but a Spurs/Wednesday quarter-final would do for me.
I would also love to see a Wednesday vs Notts County. That way I can really cheer against Notts County as I am also a Nottingham Forrest fan!
An away draw at 'Boro is not bad. I had to watch Aston Villa and Sheffield U draw. Points lost for the Blades.

And I'm not complaining about Jos by any means. I feel like we gotten better since he came in. I also feel like there is still something missing.
The game was tied almost the whole time. Atdhe Nuhiu gave you the lead with a penalty kick in the 18th minute. Barnsley equalized in the 21st minute. Barnsley had more shots on goal, 7 to 1. Barnsley didn't make any saves. You had more free kicks and corner kicks, and attempted 14 shots, with 7 missed and 6 blocked. You're in 17th. Sheffield United beat Leeds United 2-1.
