Yeah then swap Bayern with another club. The only time we don't avoid the group of death, we break a goals record. Meanwhile, our league record suffers. I don't see how we are going to power through when Weigl returns with no preseason and our central midfield lacks depth. The key CL players on our squad IMO are Weigl, Dahoud, Reus and Gurreiro. Three of those four are injured. And the other one is new to the squad. I hope we are keeping Dembélé and can reintegrate him back.
Since 2012, we have a record of 3W/3D/2L against Real. I think we can top the group again. We did it without Dahoud and Gotze. We also did it with Gurreiro, Reus and Weigl.
Looks like your wish came true. [emoji574]️ Spurs 13.09. [emoji536] Realmadrid 26.09. [emoji574]️ Apoel 17.10. [emoji536] Apoel 01.11. [emoji536] Spurs 21.11. [emoji574]️ Realmadrid 06.12. By the 4th MD we could be looking at topping the group.
Just in case there were any doubts that we werent in the group of death: Total Transfermarkt values for each Champions League group (in millions of €): H 1654 D 1487 C 1449 B 1294 F 1190 A 873 E 790 G 752
Yeah the only thing that could have been better would be for that last matchday to be in Germany when Madrid might rest their starters and BvB enjoy home advantage
In most most cases the first 4 games decide the outcome. I'd rather play those to my strengths. Also my Dec we should have Raphael, Weigl and Marco back.
If we're looking at release clauses, Real Madrid would probably beat out any group single-handedly. I understand the point your trying to make, just found it a little funny that the source quotes Dembele's value as 33 million currently
LOL JK always shoots straight from the hip. I wonder if he's considered Sahin while making this comment. English: When you try to extend contracts of players in the squad and they say "I want to play in the CL". I always wonder. WTF. That's your job. Particularly to accomplish it with us!

Really big game on Wednesday. I think we should be happy with a draw. Tottenham from the highlights and by all accounts were very good on Saturday. Kane is in good goal scoring form and so is Eriksen. If we start with Sahin and Castro, we will be outworked in the middle. Hopefully on the other hand Sahin can play balls over the top for Auba to run onto.
Just in case the Bayern fans get any ideas. pic.twitter.com/r2wH1BBMIK— Vice (@ViceIsFootball) September 27, 2017
