The 2016 World Cup of Hockey is an international ice hockey tournament. It will be the third installment of the National Hockey League (NHL)-sanctioned competition, 12 years after the second World Cup of Hockey in 2004. It is scheduled to start on September 17 and end on October 1, 2016 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
There are other NHL players from Europe but not enough to form another national team so they were gathered together to form a Team Europe The are a great deal of US and Canadians in the NHL after forming Teams Canada and USA, so a North American "B" Team was formed of players under the age of 23.
