Flamengo really needs to get to the USA. I'm surprised they aren't already booked after Corinthians success in Florida last off season.

I wish they'd come to New Jersey, but that'll never happen. The only time they could come would be in June or July and that's when the Brasileirão is in high gear. If they only can come in January, it's going to be places like Florida or California (played America-MEX 7-8 years ago there). Both of those locations would be some financial commitments from me. NJ would be a 3-4 hour drive which I've done many times before.

Wouldn't florida be easy though? I'd rule Cali out automatically but I always see great deals on flights to Florida and the hotels seem to be acceptable being in January probably hurts though. The renting a car part is something I know nothing about but I assume it'd be necessary. I could see Flu or Corinthians playing a game in NJ in July , they seem committed and organized in regards to the USA.

Spirit and Allegiant have crazy cheap flights to Florida, but there are only certain days of the week. But you need to rent a car and the hotels are expensive.

It really depends when. I know prices are sky high around New Years (before and after). I already rented a car twice in Florida and it was relatively painless, although I must say they have some of the worst non-traffic drivers I've seen in the US. I know if you are trying to be close to Sun Life, the hotels are expensive. I don't know much about Orlando other than the hotels can be pricey around the parks.

So if I go, the wife would want to go, so you are looking at $600-800 there. Plus hotel and rent car and that's over $1000.

I flew on Spirit once. As far as football locales go, they only go to Ft Lauderdale, so you'd have to rent a car to get to Miami. Spirit is good if you aren't bringing any suitcases other than your carry on.

I don't get the timing. If He still wanted to play Macae made him a fair offer.

The only thing that makes sense to me is he wanted to take a break, unless the right offer came along.

Idk what the progress is but gaston Ramirez will probably be a free agent. He is built for the brasileirao and he can really play. I'm seeing penarol has been in on him but Brazilian clubs should look here.

I rate him for a Brazilian club too. He'd start at pretty much every club, maybe bar Corinthians.

I saw Santos linked with Osvaldo too. I'd love to have either. Like I said before I don't think we've seen close to what Paulinho is capable of.

Renato Chavez linked to flu, fdp... I was happy wen ponte signed him after he pretty much flopped for nautico in the serie b but come on now, is a serie a club going to sign Alexandro now too? Give us a break. There are too many instances of ponte players being signed and just left to rot on benches so they get sent to outposts like Bulgaria or Asia. Ferrugem and Jonathan Cafu are to recent departures which offended me. Also why is flu looking at Wellington Nem? They have a smarter and a better footballer in Biro Biro, but whatever.

They apparently have sold Biro Biro to Europe, but no one has disclosed the team. Yeah, Ponte is a team bigger clubs like to raid. In Serie B, Corinthians and some other clubs constantly raid Bragantino.
