Interesting first weekend. I wouldn't have expected Minnesota to struggle so. I *would* have expected the Cosmos to clobber the diminished Furries.

If not, and you don't have beIN, you could get one of those fancy things that may change your IP to a Canadian locale and watch on NASL.com
For the bye weekend, I think you mean Jacksonville, not Ottawa. Jacksonville and Edmonton play on Wednesday. Minnesota is completely off Cosmos-Csrolina should be an interesting game. I didn't see Carolina being this strong--if they win this weekend, they'll be threatening to run away with the spring.
Wednesday, May 4 is part of week 6 to me. I count a sports "week" as running Tuesday to Monday. Week 5 was Tuesday, April 26 to Monday, May 2. There are only 4 NASL games in that "week". I did make a mistake on the byes. Those should have been: Minnesota, Jacksonville, and Edmonton.
No problem. I find that it helps really keep track of how things are going to do it each week. BTW, this is a big stretch of games coming up the next 4 weeks: SAT 04/30/2016 - @ Rayo OKC SAT 05/07/2016 - FC Edmonton SAT 05/14/2016 - @ Fort Lauderdale Strikers SAT 05/21/2016 - Minnesota United Minnesota will be very tough but there are a lot of winnable games in there. A win against Rayo could really keep things rolling. That is probably our toughest road game left in the Spring.
If we've learned anything in 2+ years of watching Indy, it's that they tends not to play well in winnable games!
Hello all, I'm newer to this place and learned of the Eleven. I live about 30 to 45 minutes South to Southeast of Ft Wayne. What do I need to know about this club to start following? I watch a bit of MLS and foreign leagues.
SAT 04/30/2016 - @ Rayo OKC - WIN! SAT 05/07/2016 - FC Edmonton SAT 05/14/2016 - @ Fort Lauderdale Strikers SAT 05/21/2016 - Minnesota United Good start for this stretch of games. Let's keep it rolling!
Well we play in the NASL which is the 2nd division league in the U.S. and there is no pro/rel between the two leagues (or any U.S. league for that matter). The club is entering their third season and has led the league in attendance each of their first two years (around 10,000 on average through the first two seasons). We've had two disappointing seasons however in each of our first two years, so this years squad has pretty much been completely revamped in hopes to lead to a better result. We're off to a good start on that front so far!
The games air on a variety of stations. Most of the home games will be on WishTV if you get that up there. Otherwise most of them should be on ESPN3, which requires a subscription to ESPN. If they are not they may be on One World Sports, BeIN, or CBSSports. BeIN and CBSSports you'll need a subscription for, while One World Sports you can watch for free at their website http://www.oneworldsports.com/.
OK, do we root for the Cosmos to win tomorrow? Seems wrong but we need someone to slow down Carolina. I guess a tie would be a good result.
I just cannot ever bring myself to root for a New York team at any level in any sport, even if Larry Bird was playing for the team. So yes, let's root for a tie.
Is the USL a tier below the NASL? I saw something about NPSL or something possibly being a tier below afilliated? Wonder if they could ever have an Indy and Ft Wayne connection like the Pacers and Mad Ants?
The tiers go something like this: D1: MLS D2: NASL D3: USL Unofficial D4: PDL & NPSL MLS and NASL are fully "independent" (the quotes are for NYCFC and Rayo OKC). MLS and the USL have an agreement which makes USL their official farm league (all MLS2 teams and MLS affiliate teams are in USL). PDL and NPSL are both semi-pro leagues. PDL is owned by USL. NPSL is independent of any other league, but has a strong relationship with NASL. Over half the teams half the NASL teams have a farm team in NPSL. This past Fall/Winter Indy Eleven bought the Chicago Fire NPSL team located in Indianapolis, and rebranded it Indy Eleven NPSL.
Wouldn't we be better off as a country to tie these leagues together? NASL as AAA, USL as AA, PDL as High A, and NPSL as Low A like baseball?
