At the very least they will go down the history books for having the best record in the Group stage for Olympics football for us with 2W 1D. If they had beaten Germany, then that could have been even more sweeter as they could have beaten the Germany in an international tournament. But looking back now, its really no use. What they had to do was beat Honduras and that was it. Eventually its all their (the players) loss. I'm sure there are no more disappointed people than the players themselves because it's their exemption that they are missing out on and not anyone else's. I could go on and on about criticizing the mistakes they made in the Honduras match to express my disappointment, but then again, I'm sure its not more than what these guys are going through right now. So it's kinda pointless. All I can say to them is that just go back and work hard to be better players. It's going to be hard to swallow but there is really nothing else we can do. For us though, we still have more to look forward. We have the upcoming U-16 Championships and U-19 Championships, amongst other domestic football action, and most importantly, the start of the WCQ's final round vs China very soon. Alot of good results we need to get out from alot of tournaments/matches.
