So, we have Bahrain the hosts taking part but also South Korea who host the World Cup in 2017 taking part. Wouldn't it be funny if both didn't failed in these qualifiers.

Guys what do you say on group A? Isn't it like an ASEAN/East kinda grouping for Bangladesh? This easy draw (apart from facing Uzbekistan) is because of our 1-0 win over Kuwait in last qualifier. I think we have a great chance to qualify for the finals for the 1st time ever since 2002 and for the 7th time overall. Our team is better than the previous batch as it includes 9 players who play in top division here. Also U16 player Nipu has been called up. Nipu is that rare forward from Bangladesh who troubled Arabian defence with his pace and couple of times he even beats his marker with burst of speed. He scored against Saudi Arabia and assisted against UAE. He was awarded the best player of the tournament in Bangladesh's SAFF U16 truimph last month. We lost 2 of our crucial attackers due to over age, one is Saad who will be playing in U19. And one commanding defender who is equally good in scoring through header and penalty. These are why we faced a devastating AFC U16 campaign. Also in UAE match, we were without 7 key players including those 3. It was 1-1 in the 1st half against the Saudis, early in the 2nd half, our goalkeeper was needlessly shown red. We were 1-2 down till 80 minutes and conceded 3 more while trying to push further. In the 1st half against UAE, it was 0-4, we fought well in the 2nd half and the score there was 1-2. Now the only problem of the U19 team is the head coach Titu. He fielded 5 defenders against India in SAFF U19 semi and lost in the tiebreaker. He even set 5 men defence against Sri Lanka at home in FIFA friendly while acting as care taker coach. Can you believe it? I just hope Bangladesh will qualify anyhow. Thanks guys for reading this far. I want you to know more about Bangladesh football. Thanks!
