Al Quwa Al Jawiya is our only hope.

Hammadi Ahmed has been on fire in this tournament, hopefully he can keep it up and lead the team to the final. An Iraqi AFC Cup champion is long overdue.

Wasat is a solid team, but has trouble scoring goals. Their only dangerous threat upfront, Jassim Mohammed, was injured and out of this game.

Hopefully Jawiya can make it to the finals. They are an attacking team and strong upfront, but lack a solid defence. Hopefully they can improve it during the transfer window.

Al Quwa Al Jawiya will face Al Jaish in the Quarter Finals. Not an easy draw at all, but I think Jawiya can do it.

At least both games will be played on a neutral venue, as Syrian clubs are also banned from playing home games.

    Jawiya 1-1 Jaish

Look at the defensive mistake by Ali Bahjat. I don't understand how a team like Jawiya has such a horrible defence (Samal, Sameh, Natiq and Bahjat) On top of that Fahad Talib is starting to make huge mistakes.

I'm not satisfied with the performance. Improvement is needed to advance to the semis

Note: Hammadi with a great goal in the 98th minute. He is topscorer of the AFC Cup with 13 goals :D

Jawiya smash Al Jaish 4-0! They're through to the Semi Finals. Hammadi now has 14 goals in the AFC cup.

They did much better than last week. Bashar is a much needed player in our NT. His creativity could come in handy.

Fahad Talib was very solid today. Hopefully he will be our NT goalkeeper.

The defending for Al Ahed's goal was terrible. A couple 1-2s and they ripped Jawiya's defense apart.

Their attacking play has been bad too. Too many longballs and crosses into the box, and the linkup play by the attackers has been bad.

Hopefully they improve in the second half. They're better than this.

Jawiya are through to the semi finals. Hopefully they can win it all this season. They've been dominant in the AFC Cup, and Hammadi has been amazing.

Jawiya will either face Johur DT or Bengaluru FC.

With all due respect but we should win the AFC Cup.

They're in the final, not the semis. And yeah, I think Hammadi scored in every single match he played in the tournament which is very impressive.

It's lucky that the Kuwaiti teams got banned from the tournament this year. They are usually the only teams that manage to knock the Iraqi teams out.

yeah your right it's the final.

Hammadi has really been impressive in the AFC cup. Too bad we never see that kind of killer instinct with the national team

Jawiya is playing sloppy. Humam off after 27 mins left us without our 2 best players (Humam and Bashar). Hopefully a better performance in the second half.

Amjed is so wasteful. Jawiya should have a goal by now, but the final shots have been terrible.
