supposedly. players with #s in the 30s and 40s, for no reason other than that's what the boss wanted. there were some players rumored to have been a bit upset by it, as well, though I have no idea whether or not that's true. weird shit, at any rate.
what's weird is how, given all the attention to detail, they've left off the massive 'Sheffield Wednesday - Hillsborough' signage on the outside of the Kop. I mean, it's no huge deal, and it's absolutely incredible regardless ... but it's so attentive to detail otherwise that it seems a bit odd.
Fernando Forestieri scored in the 10th minute, and Sheffield Wednesday led most of the game, but Fulham scored in the 90+1st minute to get a 1:1 draw.
Glad we won today. Had we not, I was going to curse myself. Ever since I posted about us starting the season well, we've sucked butt. Was gonna see if a mod could delete that post. Bad juju.

"It's not as simple as that Nigel... God knows all... He would see through such a cheap trick. What we do to ourselves, we do to Him..."
Sheffield Wednesday 2:1 Preston North End While they were up 1:0, Sheffield Wednesday got a straight red card in the 65th minute. Steven Fletcher was subbed on in the 74th minute and scored in the 79th minute to go up 2:0. Eoin (that's a strange name) Doyle was subbed on in the 81st minute and scored in the 82nd minute. Doyle and his teammate Jermaine Beckford, who was subbed on at halftime, both got straight red cards in the 90th minute to make Preston North End to finish with 9 men. The clubs combined for three straight red cards but only one yellow card. The bad news for Sheffield Wednesday is that Ross Wallace and Glenn Loovens were both subbed off in the first half.
Wallace going down hurts. I felt he was one of the keys last year, and Wednesday's recent return to form correlated fairly closely to Wallace's. and Loovens is Loovens. hopefully they'll be back soon. could be a very costly win.
Proper smacked their player so out for our most crucial games 3 matches at this time, including two derbies. FFS
