http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/serie-a/startseite/wettbewerb/IT1 Damn with should have reeched 5th place, and we have one of the youngest squads. Torino with a higher value then i thought....
For the coaching issue, why spend anohter millions for a fill-in coach, just get a good one for the new season. If necessary let the assistant coach take over the squad. http://www.violanation.com/2017/3/2...-no-keep-manager-juventus-della-valle-corvino Pointed it out a bit
I'm not against Sousa because of his Juve past (though it certainly doesn't help...) but because he sucks. And because he's petty. And because he takes the job at Fio-FREAKING-tina and expects the club to go out and bring in the best players on the market.
Chiesa: 'I can be Fiorentina's Totti' Federico Chiesa wants to be “the Francesco Totti of Fiorentina” and reveals he studied Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery movements. The winger is only 19 years old, but has already become one of the top stars in his squad. “I believe in hard work and improving every single day,” the son of former Italy and Viola striker Enrico Chiesa told La Nazione newspaper. “I know that I’ve improved a lot, but also that I have a long way to go. I’d love to be for Fiorentina what Francesco Totti has been for Roma… but as I said, I believe in taking it day by day, so there’s no point discussing the distant future. “Mentality matters so much to a player, I felt like a professional even when I was playing in the youth academy. Since last summer my outlook has changed considerably, I have become a first choice player in an important club. I used to wake up every morning and feel like I was in a dream, but now I know to focus only on hard work. “It’s true that I study other wingers and try to learn from everyone. When I was in the Primavera youth team, they’d show me Robben and Ribery footage. I have since amplified my studies, concentrating on the movements and intuition of many great champions.” _____________________ This is going to be better than Berny, I just have this gut feeling. We might very well be witnessing the beginning of career of a world class player. If he says on track and focuses, he'll get there.
@ Atalanta ____________________ 3-4-2-1 ____________________ Kalinic Valero - Ilicic Tello - Badelj - Vecino - Chiesa Astori - Gonzalo - Sanchez Tata Bench: De Maio, Berny, Oliver, Salcedo, Cristoforo, Satalino, Hagi, Maistro, Babacar, Milic, Tomovic, Sportiello
HT: 0-0 Atalanta had the better chances and were more creative. We had a few good spells of possession but nothing convincing. Kalinic had a wonderful cross delivered in by Astori early on, free header but mishit it which was a shame. Ilicic is frustrating to watch. Constantly losing possession, falling to the ground, complaining, complaining at our players, complaining to the ref. He's done nothing. Bring on Berny.
Ranieri will be a guest of honor during our game against Cagliari this weekend. Maybe the Della Valle's can get in talks with him to join us this summer
After Cavani's goal I thought they would have no chance. Barca blew me away today. That was historical.
Barca did what was laid out before them and I don't want to take away from the historical nature of the feat but the refs should never have to pay for a drink in a bar in Barcelona for the rest of their lives. Truly shocking officiating.
The refs were absolutely atrocious. But let's not forget that Di Maria ans Cavani had multiple missed chances that they normally make. PSG could've finished the game off but they didn't. All they had to do was not get shit on. And they let themselves get shit on. Still upset about the refs though.
the air is out a bit. game for game from now lets see where we stand at the end. must win vs crotone next game.
Paulo Sousa is without Josip Ilicic, Matias Vecino, and Federico Bernardeschi due to injury, and Gonzalo Rodriguez due to suspension. Sucks! Possible lineups Fiorentina (3-4-2-1): Tatarusanu; Sanchez, Tomovic, Astori; Chiesa, Borja Valero, Badelj, Olivera; Saponara, Tello; Kalinic Bologna (3-5-2): Mirante; Torosidis, Maietta, Gastaldello; Masina, Donsah, Nagy, Dzemaili, Krejci; Verdi, Destro
Official lineup 3-4-2-1 ___________________________ Kalinic Cristoforo - Ilicic Milic - Valero - Badelj - Tello Astori - Sanchez - Tomovic Tata This line up makes me nervous but boy am I glad to see some club football. International breaks always feel so long
We've looked very sharp this first 20 minutes. Good passing and movement. I'd say we've also had 65% possession.
