This reminds me that story about sitting by a river (Eiji by the Moselle) till you will see the body of your enemy floating (Didillon) :D

Eiji will be our starting gk in 2018 again.

Won't be surprised, the only possible alternative to him imo is Kosuke Nakamura. Higashiguchi and Nishikawa aren't that good imo.

Very sad if you think about Asian Cup 2019.

The Asian Cup is only half a year after the World Cup. Other keepers just have to get better, that's all.

Didillon must be having fun watching Eiji start again and having a clean sheet

And they are safe from relegation.

As for Kawashima, Hard Works pays off.

Actually, this season wasn't spectacular for Japanese player in Europe talent-wise, as much as it was specatacular for them in terms of hard work.

Players like Hasebe, Gotuko Sakai, Osako and Kawashima really proved their values to their teams through hard work and their wellingness to sacrifice their personal interests for the sake of their teams interests, and this says a lot about their professionalism.

A crucial save + a penalty stopped, he's been making the most of what he was given. He might have a chance to stay between the sticks next year.

On the bench tonight in the first game of the season. I have a feeling he will see good amount of playing time this season also.

Some very nice saves already (including against his nemesis Neymar).
