It's not defensive imho. Tuchel will use Durm to overlap as a wingback in an effort to provide RG with space to develop on that left wing (overload). This will draw out the opposition midfield and give Demebele more room to go 1v1 on the right side. I would prefer Passlack over Durm, but overall I kind of like the idea.
Dunno, I'm not sure if Weigl, Reus, Dembele and RG connection would work smoothly. I would rathr have Pulisic or Schurrle and play 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-4-1.
