Sahin is a significant upgrade compared to Castro, and knows what's demanded at BVB; we can refer to his effectiveness in the game in just the second half, and he's demonstrated before he can keep up with the rest of the squad. He can be utilized both as a 6 and a 8. Sahin may not be as good as Gundogan, but he's definitely a level above Castro. I don't know why people are so quick to dismiss him and are eager let him go so easily, considering he's a very good, useful player especially when the team lacks players that can collaborate well enough with the team to make an impact.
