Rodrigo Caio was linked with BVB and Sevilla.

Gabriel Jesus was randomly linked to Bayern.

Hulk transferred to China. It just seems to me he didn't have any professional ambitions other than lining his pockets with the highest bidder. I can't blame him. However, if you aspire to be a fixture on the NT, some weight should be placed on where you play your trade IMO. We shouldn't have to look for the services of a player who's playing in Russia or China unless we are really desperate for players. His quality is overstated because he only demonstrates it at a lower level than those who play in better leagues.

I don't mind players making this move but the head coach of the national team needs to make it known that if you want to feature for us then you have to play competitive futbol at the highest level.

Any level below the brasileirao is unacceptable IMO.

Becomes the highest transfer player in China. Hulk's agent is a genius.

Look at the bright side, maybe soon we'll have all our NT players playing in 1 league and only a few teams ! That should help chemistry ! :ROFLMAO:

One thing I wonder with Hulk is whether he, given the right move to a good team in a good league that challenged him, would've been a good to special player, or whether he would've always been the same mediocre player he ended up as. One of the great mysteries of life, I guess.

I don't think he was every going to be that good to be honest. Probably knew his limitations.

When you think about it, Hulk virtually came from nowhere. Wasn't he in the second division of the Japanese league or something like that. He probably never thought his career would take the trajectory it did. Become an NT player, earning ridiculous wages, etc. I can't blame him at all.

I guess you could say he never fooled himself into thinking he was better than he actually was. He just fooled, Mano, Scolari, Dunga ... :whistling:

Actually if I remember correctly one or all these coaches promoted him to better salary, with better club by calling him into the NT just so he would be hired... (?)

Does anybody know why Raffael never had a shot with the NT? I think he's exactly the guy your team needs.

I think with Brazilian coaches you either have to play in a big European club or make enough noise that you can't be ignored.

Gabriel Jesus confirmed he will be with a new club today. City is the rumor of course. At first I thought it was a bad move but now, I think he will succeed. Especially with guys like Sterling and Nolito as his competition.

Do you guys think he has surpassed Gabigol? I saw a comment today saying he was the best Brazilian talent since Neymar.

Sanè is also heavily linked with Citeh as well. I think Pep doesn't rate Sterling or Navas at this point and wants both of them replaced.
