What a match! Silly goals we let is and got lucky with Niang pk while other ones could have gone against us. The best part was the fighting spirit and the fans really got into it as well. Still a lot of work left to do in out defense.
This is the first time we've come back to win from two goals down since 2004. Montella is finally instilling some heart into this team. We did get a bit lucky with the ref...no obviously terrible calls but a lot of 50-50 calls going our way. Although we might have scored on the break at the end of the first half if the ref hadn't called half time in the middle of the play.
only caught the second half of the game, but glad i did. definitely changed from a gutless performance to an actual attempt to win. it was very refreshing to watch the team fight back. locatelli's reaction reminded me of pippo's celebrations, filled with heart. that's what milan has been missing, a passion for winning too often the team looks pedestrian on the field, but the passion was there today. from donnaruma's save to keep the lead (and the celebrations there), to paletta's header and niang's runs there was a lot of will to win today. now if only montolivo exchanged his "scared/safe" style of play to one of more "passion for winning" that would change the dynamic of the whole team
I think it has a lot to do with where Monto plays. He is not a natural regista and plays far too conservatively when placed in that position. He does much better when allowed to stray farther forward as a mezz'ala or even a trequartista.

Bradley al Milan? http://www.pianetamilan.it/calciome...lan-su-michael-bradley/?intcmp=bradley-italia
he's not the type of signing that takes us from mid-table to contenders for the scudetto, but i suppose we could do worse.
>He not only left Calabria outside the starting 11 in favor of Failbate he also didn't take him in the bench Sack this ******** already
1-0 good guys at half. kuco with a thunderbolt right when i was wondering what the hell he was doing out there. chievo started out well, but milan came into the half as time wore on. we look like we don't have any ideas. suso and niang look to be wasted out wide, and we've got nothing from lapadula so far. we're fortunate to have a lead. hopefully we make some adjustments at half. i'd like to see niang more toward the middle of the field to combine with lapa more. i'd also like to see jack and locatelli get on the ball more.
This team is actually kind of fun to watch! No Montolivo, no problem. No Bacca (kind of), no problem.
